Everything Else Shall Be Added to You!

By Riqui Ricón

There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous

(Psalm 14:5, KJV).

Beloved, do not be deceived; the Bible, the Word of God, is the Truth. Any of us who walks in the Light of His Word will not walk in darkness, nor in anguish, nor in fear, nor in despair, nor in sickness, nor in poverty, nor in debt, but rather, as Jesus Christ says:

If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:31-32, KJV).

So, since you have decided to believe God, you believe His Word, and therefore there is no way you can lose in this life. You have victory assured in this battle, for it is the good fight of faith.

This battle is not against your wife or husband, nor against your daughter or son, nor against any of your in-laws, nor against any of the people who are part of your life,

but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12, KJV).

Some people may feel fear before the difficulty or the gravity of the problems they face, but NOT US—the Born Again Children of God, bought and redeemed at the price of the Blood of Christ Jesus, who know and are convinced that:

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world... For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? (1 John 4:4, 5:4-5, KJV).

Thus, your enemies tremble with fear, because God is with the generation of the righteous, and this is what you are now in Christ Jesus: righteous.

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2 Corinthians 5:21, KJV).

This is so because God loves you so much that He preferred to give up His own Son rather than lose you.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved (John 3:16-17, KJV).

It is out of Love for you that God has justified you; He has made you righteous through the Blood of Jesus. Christ Jesus paid for all your crimes and sins with His Life. Now you owe nothing; you don’t have to pay for anything. You are righteous!

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God (Romans 5:1-2, KJV).

In honor of the Truth—and the Bible is the Truth—it is you who has been justified, made righteous, by God in the Blood of Jesus, and it is they, your enemies, who tremble with fear.

Indeed, regardless of the circumstances you are going through, the Truth prevails: you are the generation of the righteous and God is with you.

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31, KJV).

In a time of tremendous crisis and scarcity, Abraham lived believing the Word that the Lord had given him, and the Scripture says that it was counted to him for righteousness (Genesis 15:6). He was made righteous for believing God, by believing His Word!

Because of this, the kings of that region trembled with fear and hurried to make friends with Abraham.

And it came to pass at that time, that Abimelech and Phichol the chief captain of his host spake unto Abraham, saying, God is with thee in all that thou doest: Now therefore swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son's son: but according to the kindness that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the land wherein thou hast sojourned (Genesis 21:22-23, KJV).

The integrity of God's Word is absolute; He does not lie nor repent, He does not change His Word:

Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, Nor suffer my faithfulness to fail. My covenant will I not break, Nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips (Psalm 89:33-34, KJV).

Do not be deceived! Your life is hidden with Christ in God. Your life consists of much more than food, shelter, or clothing.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it in abundance (John 10:10, KJV).

That is right, it is written! The devil only comes into your life to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ Jesus IS PRESENT in you to give you life and ABUNDANT LIFE.

And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you (Luke 12:29-31, KJV).

Because of the Love the Lord feels for you, you have been raised to the position of a Child of God. He knows what things you need and has established in His Word that they all be supplied to you while you act in faith and in His Word to establish His kingdom; first in your own life and subsequently on this earth.

Seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and everything else shall be added to you!

Let’s pray out loud:

Beloved Heavenly Father, out of Love You have made me righteous in Christ Jesus and now I can enjoy Your Fullness to live a good and abundant life. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for what You did out of Love for me by dying on that cross. I understand that my remaining in this world has the purpose that, with Your help Holy Spirit, we begin to establish Your kingdom. May Your kingdom come, Lord, and Your Will be done on earth as it is in heaven! Therefore, I decide not to be in anxious concern for the future and to trust in You, to trust in Your Word. So, I declare that I AM what You, my God, say in Your Word that I now am: In all things I am more than a conqueror through Him who loved me! I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! I am Your Child and I have overcome them, because greater are You, who are in me, than he who is in the world! I am healed! I am free! I am prosperous! Your Love, joy, and peace are already in me so that I may make my life a full and abundant life; so that I may make my life a life worth living. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Important Note:

How do I become a Child of God? How do I establish a relationship with the Almighty?

Just say the following prayer aloud, putting all your attention and heart into what you are saying to God:

Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God. That You came into this world, born of the virgin Mary, to pay for all my sins, and I have been a sinner. Therefore, today I say that I accept. I accept Your sacrifice on the cross! I accept Your precious Blood shed to the last drop out of love for me! I open my heart to You and invite You in because I want, Lord Jesus, that from today and forever You be my only and sufficient Savior, my God, my King, and my Lord.

Thank You, Almighty God, because with this simple prayer and profession of faith I have passed from death to Life, I have been transferred from darkness

to Your marvelous Light. Today I have been Born Again! God, now I am Your Child! Now You are my Father! I will never be alone again! I will never live defeated again. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Three Recommendations:

What just happened by you recognizing Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life, according to God's Word, is that you have been Born Again. No longer as an ordinary human being, subject to the law of sin and death, but now as a legitimate and authentic Child of God, Born Again, exactly like Jesus Christ, who is now your Older Brother. Therefore, I give you these three, very important, recommendations:

1.    Pray. Praying is talking with God. So, find a quiet place where you can begin talking to Him about everything. Do it out loud, and you will notice how God always responds to your heart.

2.    Read and meditate on the Word of God. The Bible is the Word of God, so get a Bible and start reading and meditating on it. How do you begin? It’s very simple. Depending on the day, look up the reading program “The

Bible in One Year” and do the corresponding readings. You can get this program at: Through The Bible In One Year (palabradehonor.org). You will notice that the program is set up so you can print it as a booklet.

3.    In prayer with God, your Father, look for and join a Christian church or congregation where the Word of God is taught based on the Good News, which are the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Do these daily readings, and by the end of one year you will have read the entire Bible.

January 14    Luke 12.1-31 / Genesis 21 / Psalm 14 Luke

12 In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

2  For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

3  Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

4  And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.

5  But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

6  Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?

7  But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

8  Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

9  But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

10  And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

11  And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:

12  For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

13  And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.

14  And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?

15  And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

16  And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:

17  And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?

18  And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.

19  And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

20  But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

21  So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

22  And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.

23  The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.

24  Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?

25  And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?

26  If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?

27  Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

28  If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?

29  And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.

30  For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.

31  But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Genesis

21 And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.

2  For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

3  And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.

4  And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him.

5  And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.

6  And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.

7  And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.

8  And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned.

9  And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.

10  Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.

11  And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son.

12  And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

13  And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed.

14  And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.

15  And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.

16  And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bow shot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept.

17  And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.

18  Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.

19  And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.

20  And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.

21  And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.

22  And it came to pass at that time, that Abimelech and Phichol the chief captain of his host spake unto Abraham, saying, God is with thee in all that thou doest:

23  Now therefore swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son's son: but according to the kindness that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the land wherein thou hast sojourned.

24  And Abraham said, I will swear.

25  And Abraham reproved Abimelech because of a well of water, which Abimelech's servants had violently taken away.

26  And Abimelech said, I wot not who hath done this thing; neither didst thou tell me, neither yet heard I of it, but to day.

27  And Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto Abimelech; and both of them made a covenant.

28  And Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.

29  And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What mean these seven ewe lambs which thou hast set by themselves?

30  And he said, For these seven ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a witness unto me, that I have digged this well.

31  Wherefore he called that place Beersheba; because there they sware both of them.

32  Thus they made a covenant at Beersheba: then Abimelech rose up, and Phichol the chief captain of his host, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.

33  And Abraham planted a grove in Beersheba, and called there on the name of the LORD, the everlasting God.

34  And Abraham sojourned in the Philistines' land many days.

Psalm

14 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

2  The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

3  They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

4  Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.

5  There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.

6  Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.

7  Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
