How to Make Your Dreams Come True!
You can dream the best for your life!
By Riqui Ricón*
And when they saw him afar off,
even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him. And
they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh. Come now therefore, and
let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured
him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams (Genesis
37:18-20, KJV).
The work of your enemy,
the devil, has always been to kill your dreams
so that he can steal your
identity as a Born Again Child of God. However, your heavenly Father first
created you by giving you life, and then He predestined you to be an heir of
Eternal salvation by giving you the identity of His Child through Jesus Christ.
Having predestinated us unto the adoption
of children by Jesus Christ to
himself, according to the good pleasure of his will (Ephesians
1:5, KJV).
In
this way, once Christ did everything God commanded him, he became
the savior who gives eternal life to all who obey him (Hebrews
5:9, CEV).
Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ (Galatians
4:7, KJV).
Regarding lost dreams, on one occasion the
prophet Elisha spoke to the Shunammite woman (who was barren and had no children,
and who had treated Elisha so well that she had
even built a room for him):
And he said, About this season,
according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my
lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thine
handmaid. And the woman conceived, and bare a son at that time of year that Elisha had said unto her (2
Kings 4:16-17, KJV).
This woman had already lost all hope of
seeing her dream of being a mother realized.
Her dream had died, and she did not consider
it possible to even think
about it again.
For this reason,
she reproached the prophet for mocking her unfortunate situation.
The reality was that she could not have children
because of her infertility, but the
truth was that the prophet
spoke in the name of
God and she was able to see her dream come true, even though she didn't have the faith to believe it!
How could this happen? How can someone
recover the thread
of a worn-out life? How can a dream already lost become a reality?
It all began with this woman's desire to keep the prophet of God under her roof
and, therefore, have access to the Word of God.
And she said unto her husband,
Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man
of God, which passeth by us continually. Let us make a little chamber, I pray
thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a
stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall
turn in thither (2 Kings 4:9-10, KJV).
She recovered her dreams and her life by longing
for and treasuring the prophet and his message—that is, treasuring the Word of God.
Because of
the life they have led, it seems to
many Christians, who are
Born Again Children of God, that they have already lost the opportunity to realize their
dreams, and they resign themselves to leading a "normal" life lacking
sense or meaning. But remember:
The thief cometh not, but for to
steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly
(John 10:10, KJV).
Nothing is further
from the Truth than resignation. You are a Born Again
Child of God and you have every right to take back the thread of your life. You have every right to dream and believe
again, for to the one who believes God, EVERYTHING is possible.
God chose Joseph to fulfill
His Word pledged
to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and
although Joseph's brothers
tried to kill his dreams
by selling him as a slave, God was faithful to His Word with the man
He had chosen.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to
them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans
8:28, KJV).
Did you know that you have been chosen, called by God? The Bible says so, and what is truly significant is
whether you truly believe it.
Thanks to Christ
Jesus, you, my beloved brother/sister, can aspire from this
moment on to live an abundant life in the fullness of God.
Do not allow the devil to steal your dreams
and determine to live in the certainty of your faith; for if God said it, then He is going
to do it; if He spoke it, then He is going to fulfill it.
Heaven and earth shall
pass away: but my words shall not pass away (Mark
13:31, KJV).
There is not the slightest
possibility that God will fail to fulfill
His Word to you!
For God so loved
the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to
condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved (John
3:16-17, KJV).
There is no greater foundation on which you can build your faith,
there is no greater demonstration of Love, than knowing that God preferred to give up His
own Son to pay for ALL your sins rather than lose you.
See how very much our heavenly
Father loves us, for he allows us to be called
children of God. And the most wonderful thing is that we really are! (1
John 3:1a, NLT).
And because of the great Love with which God has loved you, He not only paid
for ALL your sins to make you righteous, but He decided to make you His own Child.
To God, you are very important, and He does
not want you to live suffering through afflictions that were already paid for
with the Life of His Son Jesus. Therefore, stop focusing your attention on the
problems, illnesses, or afflictions you are facing and give
ALL your attention
to what God is telling
you
today through this reflection and His Word:
That you are important to Him; that He has not left you, nor will He leave you;
that He loves you so much that He preferred to give up His own Son, Jesus Christ, rather than lose you. That He
is with you and that from every problem, illness, or affliction, you will
emerge more than a conqueror.
Today God, your Father, tells you that it is time to return home and recover your dreams.
Let’s pray out loud:
Beloved heavenly Father, in this hour I want
to thank You for such great and vast Love with which You have loved me. Thank
You, Lord Jesus, for having paid the price for all my sins for me and for
giving me Eternal Life. Today I can stand with my head held high and a grateful
heart because, through what You did for me on the cross, I am now a Born Again
Child of God. I am a new creation! Old things have passed away; behold, all
things are made new in my life. In the name of Jesus, I call for healing and
health in my body; I call for emotional stability in my life, for now I know
who I am: I call for my financial freedom. I believe and declare that I am the
person that You, my God and Father, say in Your Word that I am. I am free and
happy, for the Almighty is with me. I am going to dream again to achieve everything I have been called to be. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Important Note:
How do I become a Child of God? How do I establish a relationship with the
Almighty?
Just say the following prayer
aloud, putting all your attention
and heart into what you are saying to God:
Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of
God. That You came into this world, born
of the virgin Mary, to pay for all my sins, and I have
been a sinner. Therefore, today I say that I accept. I accept Your
sacrifice on the cross! I accept Your precious
Blood shed to the last drop out of love for me! I open my
heart to You and invite You in
because I want, Lord Jesus, that from today and
forever You be my only and sufficient Savior, my God,
my King, and my Lord. Thank
You, Almighty God, because with this simple prayer and profession of faith I have passed from death to Life, I have been transferred from darkness to Your
marvelous Light. Today I have been Born Again! God, now I am Your Child! Now
You are my Father! I will never be alone again! I will never live defeated
again. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Three Recommendations:
What just happened by you recognizing Jesus Christ as the Lord and
Savior of your life, according
to God's Word, is that you have been Born Again. No longer
as an ordinary human being, subject to the law of sin and death, but now as a
legitimate and authentic Child of God, Born Again, exactly like Jesus Christ, who is now your Older Brother. Therefore,
I give you these three, very important, recommendations:
1.
Pray. Praying is talking with God. So, find a quiet
place where you can begin talking to Him about everything. Do it out loud, and you will notice
how God always responds to your heart.
2.
Read and meditate
on the Word of God. The Bible
is the Word of God, so
get a Bible and start reading and meditating on it. How do you begin? It’s very simple. Depending on the day,
look up the reading program “The
Bible in One Year” and do the corresponding readings. You can get this program at: Through The Bible In One Year (palabradehonor.org). You will notice
that the program is set up so you can print it as a booklet.
3.
In prayer with God, your Father, look for and join a
Christian church or congregation where the Word of God is taught based
on the Good News, which are
the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

January 28 Luke 20.27-47 / Genesis
37 / Psalm 28
Luke
27 Then came to him certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any
resurrection; and they asked him,
28 Saying, Master,
Moses wrote unto us, If any man's brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother
should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
29 There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died
without children.
30 And the second took her to wife, and he died childless.
31 And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.
32 Last of all the woman died also.
33 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her
to wife.
34 And Jesus
answering said unto them, The children of this world
marry, and are given in
marriage:
35 But they which shall
be accounted worthy
to obtain that world, and the
resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
36 Neither can they die any more:
for they are equal unto the angels;
and are the children of God,
being the children of the resurrection.
37 Now that the dead are raised,
even Moses shewed
at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham,
and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
38 For he is
not a God of the dead, but of the
living: for all live
unto him.
39 Then certain
of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast well
said.
40 And after that they durst not ask him any question
at all.
41 And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is David's
son?
42 And David
himself saith in the book of Psalms,
The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
43 Till I make thine enemies thy
footstool.
44 David therefore
calleth him Lord, how is he then his son?
45 Then in the audience
of all the people he said unto his disciples,
46 Beware of the scribes,
which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings
in the markets, and the highest seats
in the synagogues, and the chief rooms
at feasts;
47 Which devour widows' houses,
and for a shew make long prayers:
the same shall receive greater
damnation.
Genesis
37 And Jacob dwelt in the land wherein
his father was a stranger, in the land of
Canaan.
2 These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph,
being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren;
and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his
father's wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report.
3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because
he was the son of his old
age: and he made him a coat of many colours.
4 And when his brethren
saw that their father loved him more than all his
brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.
5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.
6 And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which
I have dreamed:
7 For, behold,
we were binding sheaves in the field,
and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and,
behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf.
8 And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou
indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams,
and for his words.
9 And he dreamed
yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed
a dream more; and, behold,
the sun and the moon and
the eleven stars made obeisance to me.
10 And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream
that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren
indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?
11 And his brethren envied
him; but his father observed
the saying.
12 And his brethren went to feed their father's
flock in Shechem.
13 And Israel said unto Joseph, Do not thy brethren feed the flock in Shechem? come, and I will send thee unto
them. And he said to him, Here am I.
14 And he said to
him, Go, I pray thee, see whether it be well with thy brethren, and well with the flocks;
and bring me word again.
So he sent him out of the
vale of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.
15 And a certain man found him, and, behold,
he was wandering in the field:
and the man asked him, saying, What seekest thou?
16 And he said, I seek my brethren: tell me, I pray thee,
where they feed their
flocks.
17 And the man said, They are departed hence;
for I heard them say, Let us go
to Dothan. And Joseph went after his brethren, and found them in Dothan.
18 And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them,
they conspired against him to slay him.
19 And they said one to another,
Behold, this dreamer
cometh.
20 Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and
we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will
become of his dreams.
21 And Reuben
heard it, and he delivered him out of their hands;
and said, Let us not kill him.
22 And Reuben
said unto them, Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit that is
in the wilderness, and lay
no hand upon him; that he might rid
him out of their hands, to deliver him to his father again.
23 And it came to pass, when Joseph was come unto his brethren, that they stript
Joseph out of his coat, his coat of many colours that was on him;
24 And they took him, and cast him into a pit: and the pit was empty, there was no water in it.
25 And they sat down to eat bread: and they lifted up their eyes and looked,
and, behold, a company of Ishmeelites came from Gilead with their camels
bearing spicery and balm and myrrh, going to carry it down to Egypt.
26 And Judah said unto his brethren, What profit is it if we slay our brother, and conceal his blood?
27 Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our
flesh. And his brethren were content.
28 Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted
up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty
pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt.
29 And Reuben
returned unto the pit; and, behold, Joseph
was not in the pit; and he rent his clothes.
30 And he returned unto his brethren,
and said, The child is not; and I, whither shall I go?
31 And they took Joseph's
coat, and killed
a kid of the goats,
and dipped the coat in the blood;
32 And they sent the coat of many colours,
and they brought
it to their father; and
said, This have we found: know now whether it be thy son's coat or no.
33 And he knew it, and said,
It is my son's coat; an evil beast hath devoured
him; Joseph is without doubt rent in pieces.
34 And Jacob
rent his clothes,
and put sackcloth upon his loins,
and mourned for his son many
days.

The work of your enemy,
the devil, has always been to kill your dreams
so that he can steal your
identity as a Born Again Child of God. However, your heavenly Father first
created you by giving you life, and then He predestined you to be an heir of
Eternal salvation by giving you the identity of His Child through Jesus Christ.
Having predestinated us unto the adoption

She recovered her dreams and her life by longing
for and treasuring the prophet and his message—that is, treasuring the Word of God.
Because of
the life they have led, it seems to
many Christians, who are
Born Again Children of God, that they have already lost the opportunity to realize their
dreams, and they resign themselves to leading a "normal" life lacking
sense or meaning. But remember:
The thief cometh not, but for to
steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly

Nothing is further
from the Truth than resignation. You are a Born Again
Child of God and you have every right to take back the thread of your life. You have every right to dream and believe
again, for to the one who believes God, EVERYTHING is possible.
God chose Joseph to fulfill
His Word pledged
to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and
although Joseph's brothers
tried to kill his dreams
by selling him as a slave, God was faithful to His Word with the man
He had chosen.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to
them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans

Did you know that you have been chosen, called by God? The Bible says so, and what is truly significant is
whether you truly believe it.
Thanks to Christ
Jesus, you, my beloved brother/sister, can aspire from this
moment on to live an abundant life in the fullness of God.
Do not allow the devil to steal your dreams
and determine to live in the certainty of your faith; for if God said it, then He is going
to do it; if He spoke it, then He is going to fulfill it.
Heaven and earth shall
pass away: but my words shall not pass away (Mark

There is not the slightest
possibility that God will fail to fulfill
His Word to you!
For God so loved

with the Life of His Son Jesus. Therefore, stop focusing your attention on the
problems, illnesses, or afflictions you are facing and give

to what God is telling
you
today through this reflection and His Word:
That you are important to Him; that He has not left you, nor will He leave you;
that He loves you so much that He preferred to give up His own Son, Jesus Christ, rather than lose you. That He
is with you and that from every problem, illness, or affliction, you will

Today God, your Father, tells you that it is time to return home and recover your dreams.

14 And he said to
him, Go, I pray thee, see whether it be well with thy brethren, and well with the flocks;
and bring me word again.
So he sent him out of the
vale of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.
15 And a certain man found him, and, behold,
he was wandering in the field:
and the man asked him, saying, What seekest thou?
16 And he said, I seek my brethren: tell me, I pray thee,
where they feed their
flocks.
17 And the man said, They are departed hence;
for I heard them say, Let us go
21 And Reuben
heard it, and he delivered him out of their hands;
and said, Let us not kill him.
Joseph out of his coat, his coat of many colours that was on him;
24 And they took him, and cast him into a pit: and the pit was empty, there was no water in it.
31 And they took Joseph's
coat, and killed
a kid of the goats,
and dipped the coat in the blood;
32 And they sent the coat of many colours,
and they brought
it to their father; and
said, This have we found: know now whether it be thy son's coat or no.
33 And he knew it, and said,
It is my son's coat; an evil beast hath devoured
him; Joseph is without doubt rent in pieces.
34 And Jacob
rent his clothes,
and put sackcloth upon his loins,
and mourned for his son many
days.
35 And all his sons and all his daughters
rose up to comfort him; but he refused
to be comforted; and he said, For I will go down into the grave unto my son
mourning. Thus his father wept for him.
36 And the Midianites sold him into Egypt unto Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh's, and captain of the guard.
Psalm
28 Unto thee will I cry, O
LORD
my rock; be not silent
to me: lest, if thou be
silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.
2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my
hands toward thy holy oracle.
3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but
mischief is in their hearts.
4 Give them according to their deeds,
and according to the wickedness of their endeavours:
give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.
5 Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his
hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.
6 Blessed be the LORD, because
he hath heard the voice of my
supplications.
7 The LORD is my strength and my
shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
8 The LORD is their strength,
and he is the saving
strength of his anointed.
9 Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.
