The Clauses!
By Riqui Ricón
Then Abram fell on his face: and
God talked with him, saying, As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and
thou shalt be a father of many nations. Neither shall thy name any more be
called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have
I made thee. And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations
of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. And
I will establish my covenant between
me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for
an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. And I will
give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein
thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and
I will be their God. And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations. This is my covenant, which
ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child
among you shall be circumcised. And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your
foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you (Genesis
17:3–11, KJV).
Beloved, God is a covenant-keeping God. This does not mean there are other
gods, nor that He is constantly making new covenants. What it does mean is that God wants to make it very clear to you that He is honorable, that He has honor, and that He will keep His
Word. The sun, the moon, and the
stars will cease to exist before He ever fails to fulfill His Word.
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (Matthew
24:35, KJV).
Knowing and believing this is essential both for your relationship with your
heavenly Father and for you to successfully fulfill God’s purposes
for your life.
Look at how clear this was to a young man of
barely fourteen or fifteen years of age named David. While an entire army and even the king of Israel trembled with fear before a boastful
giant, David went and defeated him by killing him.
How was he able to do that? He simply spoke
to the giant, letting him know that he, Goliath,
was nobody, and that he, David, had a covenant
with God—a covenant God would
never break.
And David spake to the men that
stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this
Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this
uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God? … And the Philistine said unto David,
Come to me, and I will give thy
flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to
the beasts of the field. Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me
with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the
name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast
defied. This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite
thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host
of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts
of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. And
all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for
the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hands (1
Samuel 17:26, 44–47, KJV).
David did not have more faith than you do,
because just like him, you know that God does not lie or change
His mind; that if He said it, He will do it; that if God spoke it, He will carry it out.
Whatever Goliaths you may be facing today,
you only need to remember that there is a covenant—and
that this covenant is far greater and better than the one David had. It is the
New Covenant, established in the precious and powerful Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a better covenant,
established on better
promises. It is the New Covenant that God will never, ever fail to keep.
So, take some of the clauses of this New Covenant and remind your Goliaths of them—out loud:
I
can do all things through
Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13, KJV).
I can do everything! There is no problem, circumstance, or situation that I
cannot overcome!
Ye
are of God, little children, and have overcome
them: because greater
is he that is in you, than he
that is in the world (1 John 4:4, KJV).
I belong to God! I am His
beloved child! Just because of this, I have already overcome! Greater
is He—the Holy Spirit—who is in me and with me, than he
who is in the world!
Nay, in all these
things we are more than conquerors through
him that loved us
(Romans 8:37, KJV).
In everything—absolutely everything—I am more than a conqueror!
Thou shalt not be afraid for the
terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence
that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
A thousand shall
fall at thy side, and ten thousand
at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee (Psalm
91:5–7, KJV).
I will not fear, for even
though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, You, Lord Jesus,
are with me! I am a blessed
child of the Lord, and I will not look on when evil comes upon me;
even if bad things are happening all around me, they will not reach me!
The Lord is my light and my
salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom
shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes,
came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I
be confident (Psalm 27:1–3, KJV).
God is my light and my salvation!
God Himself is the strength
of my life! I fear nothing! My enemies stumble and fall
before me! I trust in You, my God and Father!
I have peace and joy, for blessed
is the man (woman) who trusts in You!
Surely he hath borne our griefs,
and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and
afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our
iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we
are healed (Isaiah 53:4–5, KJV).
I am free from every sickness
and disease! By the Blood and the wounds of Jesus, I am healed!
In His covenant with Abraham, God promised
to multiply his descendants and bless him; in the New Covenant, in the Blood of
Jesus, God places you far above what was promised by making you legally His child: an heir of God and a
joint heir with Christ Jesus.
For ye have not received the spirit
of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby
we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children
of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and
joint-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:15–17a, KJV).
This is just a very small
sample of the great and beautiful promises that God has given you so that you may partake of His divine
nature through the New
Covenant in the Blood of Jesus.
Through these
he has given us his very great and precious
promises, so that through them you may participate in
the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil
desires (2 Peter 1:4, NIV).
It would be well worth it if this year you
did everything necessary to know, remember, meditate on, and above all, use to your advantage the clauses of the New Covenant.
This book of the law shall
not depart out of thy mouth; but thou
shalt meditate therein day and
night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein:
for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good
success (Joshua 1:8, KJV).
According to the clauses of the Covenant,
there is only one way to make your
path prosperous and for everything to go well for you—and
that is by making the Bible
the highest standard of your life.
Let’s pray out loud:
Beloved heavenly Father, thank You so much
for loving me so deeply that, even when I was dead in trespasses and sins, You gave me life together
with Christ. Thank You for the New Covenant in the Blood of Your Son
Jesus, through which You have transferred me from darkness into Your marvelous
light, legitimately making me Your child.
Lord Jesus, I love You with all my being!
Today I want to honor this New Covenant in the Blood of Jesus, and I speak to
and declare over all my problems, sicknesses, and afflictions that I belong to
God! I am His child! Just because of this, I have already overcome! Greater is
He—the Holy Spirit—who is in me and with me, than he who is in the world! In
everything—absolutely everything—I am more than a conqueror! I will not fear, for even though I walk through the valley of the shadow
of death, You, Lord Jesus, are with me! I am a blessed child of the Lord, and I will not look on when evil comes

My enemies stumble and fall before me! I
trust in You, my God and Father! I have peace and joy, for blessed is the man
(woman) who trusts in You! I am free from every
sickness and disease!
By the Blood and the wounds of Jesus, I am healed! In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Important Note:
How do I become a Child of God? How do I establish a relationship with the
Almighty?
Just say the following prayer
aloud, putting all your attention
and heart into what you are saying to God:
Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of
God. That You came into this world, born
of the virgin Mary, to pay for all my sins, and I have
been a sinner. Therefore, today I say that I accept. I accept Your
sacrifice on the cross! I accept Your precious
Blood shed to the last drop out of love for me! I open my
heart to You and invite You in
because I want, Lord Jesus, that from today and forever You be my only and sufficient Savior, my
God, my King, and my Lord.
Thank You, Almighty God, because with this
simple prayer and profession of faith I have passed from death to Life, I have been transferred from darkness
to Your marvelous Light. Today I have been Born Again! God, now I am Your
Child! Now You are my Father! I will never be alone again! I will never live
defeated again. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Three Recommendations:
What just happened by you recognizing Jesus Christ as the Lord and
Savior of your life, according
to God's Word, is that you have been Born Again. No longer
as an ordinary human being, subject to the law of sin and death, but now as a
legitimate and authentic Child of God, Born Again, exactly like Jesus Christ, who is now your Older Brother. Therefore,
I give you these three, very important, recommendations:
1.
Pray. Praying is talking with God. So, find a quiet
place where you can begin talking to Him about everything. Do it out loud, and you will notice
how God always responds to your heart.
2.
Read and meditate
on the Word of God. The Bible
is the Word of God, so
get a Bible and start reading and meditating on it. How do you begin? It’s very simple. Depending on the day,
look up the reading program “The
Bible in One Year” and do the corresponding readings. You can get this program at: Through The Bible In One Year (palabradehonor.org). You will notice
that the program is set up so you can print it as a booklet.
3.
In prayer with God, your Father, look for and join a
Christian church or congregation where the Word of God is taught based
on the Good News, which are
the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

10 Luke 10.1-20
/ Genesis 17 / Psalm 10
Luke
10 After these things the LORD appointed other seventy also, and sent them
two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would
come.
2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the
harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
3
Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
4 Carry neither
purse, nor scrip,
nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.
5
And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
6 And if the son of peace
be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall
turn to you again.
7 And in the same house remain,
eating and drinking
such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his
hire. Go not from house to house.
8 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
10 But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and
say,
11 Even the very dust of your city, which
cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against
you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh
unto you.
12 But I say unto you, that it shall
be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.
13 Woe unto thee, Chorazin!
woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon,
which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in
sackcloth and ashes.
14 But it shall be more tolerable
for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment,
than for you.
15 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted
to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.
16 He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth
you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth
him that sent me.
17 And the seventy returned
again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents
and scorpions, and over
all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice
not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are
written in heaven.
Genesis
17 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty
God; walk before
me, and be thou perfect.
2 And I will make my covenant
between me and thee, and will multiply
thee exceedingly.
3
And Abram fell on his face: and God talked
with him, saying,
4 As for me, behold,
my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father
of many nations.
5 Neither shall
thy name any more be called Abram,
but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations
have I made thee.
6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
7 And I will
establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art
a stranger, all the land of Canaan,
for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
9 And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant
therefore, thou, and thy seed
after thee in their generations.
10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between
me and you and thy seed
after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
11 And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin;
and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.
12 And he that is
eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought
with money of any stranger,
which is not of thy seed.
13 He that is born
in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant
shall be in your flesh for an everlasting
covenant.
14 And the
uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall
be cut off from his people; he hath broken
my covenant.
15 And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai
thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name
be.
16 And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and
she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.
17 Then Abraham
fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart,
Shall a child be born unto him
that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?
18
And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before
thee!
19 And God said,
Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed
after him.
20 And as for Ishmael,
I have heard thee: Behold,
I have blessed him, and will
make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he
beget, and I will make him a great nation.
21 But my covenant will I establish
with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee
at this set time in the next year.
22 And he left off talking with him, and God went up from
Abraham.
23 And Abraham
took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all
that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham's house; and circumcised the
flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as God had said unto him.
24 And Abraham
was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
25 And Ishmael
his son was thirteen years
old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his
foreskin.
26 In the selfsame day was Abraham
circumcised, and Ishmael
his son.
27 And all the men of his house, born in the house, and bought with money of the stranger, were circumcised with
him.
Psalm
10 Why standest thou afar off, O
LORD? why hidest
thou thyself in times of trouble?
2 The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the
devices that they have imagined.
3 For the wicked boasteth
of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous,
whom the LORD abhorreth.
4 The wicked,
through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
5 His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as
for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.
6 He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in
adversity.
7 His mouth is full of cursing
and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.
8 He sitteth
in the lurking places of the villages:
in the secret places doth he
murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.
9 He lieth
in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth
in wait to catch the poor:
he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.
10 He croucheth, and humbleth himself,
that the poor may fall by his strong
ones.
11 He hath said in his heart,
God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will
never see it.
12 Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand:
forget not the humble.
13 Wherefore doth the wicked
contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.
14 Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief
and spite, to requite it with
thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.
15 Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness
till thou find none.
16
The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen
are perished out of his land.
17 LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble:
thou wilt prepare
their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:
18 To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
Then Abram fell on his face: and

11 And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin;
and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.
