How to Receive What God Has for You!
Fix Your Eyes on the Reward!
By Riqui
Ricón*
By faith Moses, when he was come to
years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; choosing rather to suffer
affliction with the people of God,
than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; esteeming the reproach of
Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the
recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of
the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. (Hebrews
11:24-27, KJV)
FAITH
is the most powerful force that
exists. Through faith we understand that
the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which
are seen were not made of things which do appear. (Hebrews
11:3, KJV). FAITH is not a mystical power,
nor a level of elevation that only a
few "enlightened" ones can reach. No! Faith is simple, and it is
within your reach.
For by grace are ye saved
through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift
of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians
2:8-9, KJV)
FAITH is a gift from your Father!
FAITH is believing God by believing His Word. This means believing that He has Honor
and does not lie. This is believing
that if God said it, then He will fulfill
it; that if God spoke it, then He will execute it.
God is not a man, that he should
lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken,
and shall he not
make it good? (Numbers 23:19, KJV)
When you believe that the Bible is the Word
of God, then, like Moses, regardless of how difficult or adverse your
circumstances are today, you stand firm, confident, and calm, because
you endure as seeing the Invisible One, with
your eyes fixed on the reward—that is, with your eyes fixed on His Word, on each one of His Promises.
My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. Keep my
commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them
upon the table of thine heart. (Proverbs
7:1-3, KJV)
FAITH comes by hearing the Word of God and by making
the Bible the supreme
standard of your existence (placing it in your mouth, mind, and heart); it is then that you have access to the unlimited
resources that God places within reach of all His Children.
For God so loved
the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to
condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John
3:16-17, KJV)
God loves you so much that He preferred to give up His own Son, to
pay for all your sins, rather
than lose you. Jesus came to save you, never to condemn
you!
Whosoever believeth
that Jesus is the Christ
is born of God. (1 John 5:1, KJV)
Do you believe that Jesus is the Christ, the
Messiah, the Savior of the world who gave his own life to pay for all your sins? If so, then according
to the Word of God, you are Born of God.
See what great love the Father has
lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. (1
John 3:1, NIV)
Today, you must learn to look at yourself the way God looks at you. You must
learn to call yourself what God calls you.
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of
God, which liveth and abideth for ever. (1 Peter
1:23, KJV)
You, my dear friend, according to the
Bible—which is the Word of God and does not lie—ARE
a Born-Again Child of God, not of corruptible seed, but of
the incorruptible seed which is the Word of God that lives
and remains forever!
Stop looking at everything they have told
you that you are not. Pay no more attention to the words of discouragement, failure,
and defeat that have been spoken over you. Pay attention to the
Word of Truth, to the Law of Righteousness, which your Father has pronounced
over you. Stand firm by seeing the Invisible One and, just like Him, call the
things that are not as though they were. Fix your eyes on the reward!
And said, If thou wilt diligently
hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right
in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments,
and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I
have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth
thee. (Exodus 15:26, KJV)
As
a Born-Again Child of God, you have every right to know and relate to God your Father
as your Healer,
the one who heals ALL your diseases. (Psalm 103:3, KJV).
My son, attend to my words; incline
thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart
from thine eyes; keep them in
the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. (Proverbs 4:20-22,
KJV)
If you make the Bible, the Word of God, the
supreme standard of your existence, then rest assured that it will be life to you and medicine
to your whole body.
Beloved, I wish above all things
that thou mayest prosper and be in health,
even as thy soul prospereth. (3 John 1:2, KJV)
The Will of God for your Life is clearly
expressed in the pages of the Bible.
He is your Father who loves
you, and He desires you to be prosperous, healthy, and in complete peace.
Through the sacrifice
and Love of Jesus, you have been declared a Child of God;
you have the gift of Eternal Life. The Will of God, your Father, is one of joy,
peace, prosperity, and health toward you. So, TODAY you can release your
faith with the Word of God to RECEIVE total
and absolute healing,
prosperity, and joy.
Let’s pray out loud:
Beloved heavenly Father, since FAITH is
believing You by believing Your Word, then I have FAITH and I know that I can
fully trust in Your Word. Therefore, I understand and believe that Your will
for me is good, pleasing, and perfect. I believe and receive this great Love
You feel for me. Thank You for Your Word, which is the Truth, and with which I
can direct my life. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for what You acquired for me by
dying on that cross and by rising from the dead. Because of all this, I believe
and declare that a thousand shall fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right
hand, but it shall not come nigh me, because even though I walk through the
valley of the shadow of death, I WILL FEAR no evil because You, Lord, are with
me. You are the one who keeps me, and the wicked one touches me not. I subject
every problem, anguish, or sickness to the authority of the
Word of God, my Father,
and I put them under
my feet. I am healed! I am Free! I am prosperous! I believe and receive the
Love, joy, and peace that only I, a Child of the King, can experience to live a life
in the Fullness of God, my Father. I will not fear! I will only believe what
the Bible, the Word of God, which does not lie, says about me. In the name of
Jesus. Amen.
Important Note:
How do I become a Child of God? How do I establish a relationship with the
Almighty?
Just say the following prayer
aloud, putting all your attention
and heart into what you are saying to God:
Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of
God. That You came into this world, born
of the virgin Mary, to pay for all my sins, and I have
been a sinner. Therefore, today I say that I accept. I accept Your
sacrifice on the cross! I accept Your precious
Blood shed to the last drop out of love for me! I open my
heart to You and invite You in
because I want, Lord Jesus, that from today and forever You be my only and sufficient Savior, my
God, my King, and my Lord.
Thank You, Almighty God, because with this
simple prayer and profession of faith I have passed from death to Life, I have been transferred from darkness
to Your marvelous
Light. Today I have been Born Again! God, now I am Your
Child! Now You are my Father! I will never be alone again! I will never live
defeated again. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Three Recommendations:
What just happened by you recognizing Jesus Christ as the Lord and
Savior of your life, according
to God's Word, is that you have been Born Again. No longer
as an ordinary human being, subject to the law of sin and death, but now as a
legitimate and authentic Child of God, Born Again, exactly like Jesus Christ, who is now your Older Brother. Therefore,
I give you these three, very important, recommendations:
1.
Pray. Praying is talking with God. So, find a quiet
place where you can begin talking to Him about everything. Do it out loud, and you will notice
how God always responds to your heart.
2.
Read and meditate
on the Word of God. The Bible
is the Word of God, so
get a Bible and start reading and meditating on it. How do you begin? It’s very simple. Depending on the day,
look up the reading program “The
Bible in One Year” and do the corresponding readings. You can get this program at: Through The Bible In One Year (palabradehonor.org). You will notice
that the program is set up so you can print it as a booklet.
3.
In prayer with God, your Father, look for and join a
Christian church or congregation where the Word of God is taught based
on the Good News, which are
the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Reading and Meditation on the Word of God
Do these daily readings, and by the end of one year you will have read the
entire Bible.
February 16 Hebrews 11.23-40
/ Exodus 15 / Proverbs
6-7.5 Hebrews
11 Now faith is the substance
of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained
a good report.
3 Through faith we
understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
4 By faith
Abel offered unto God a more excellent
sacrifice than Cain, by which he
obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by
it he being dead yet speaketh.
5 By faith Enoch
was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because
God had translated him: for before
his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith
it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe
that he is, and that he is a rewarder
of them that diligently seek him.
7 By faith Noah,
being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared
an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of
the righteousness which is by faith.
8 By faith Abraham,
when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive
for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
9 By faith
he sojourned in the land of promise,
as in a strange country,
dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the
same promise:
10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose
builder and maker is
God.
11 Through faith also Sara herself received
strength to conceive
seed, and was delivered of a child when she was
past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as
the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
13 These all died in faith, not having received
the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of
them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on
the earth.
14 For they that say such things
declare plainly that they seek a country.
15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country
from whence they came
out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
16 But now they desire
a better country,
that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed
to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
17 By faith
Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had
received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac
shall thy seed be called:
19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a
figure.
20 By faith Isaac blessed
Jacob and Esau concerning things
to come.
21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying,
blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of
his staff.
22 By faith
Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing
of the children of Israel; and
gave commandment concerning his bones.
Exodus
15 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed
gloriously: the horse and his
rider hath he thrown into the sea.
2 The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.
3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.
4 Pharaoh's chariots
and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen
captains also are drowned in the Red sea.
5 The depths
have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.
6 Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious
in power: thy right hand,
O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.
7 And in the
greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest
forth thy wrath,
which consumed them as
stubble.
8 And with the
blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of
the sea.
9 The enemy said, I will pursue,
I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust
shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.
10 Thou didst blow with thy wind,
the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.
11 Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing
wonders?
12 Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.
13 Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed:
thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.
14 The people
shall hear, and be afraid:
sorrow shall take hold on the
inhabitants of Palestina.
15 Then the dukes of
Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them;
all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt
away.
16 Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness
of thine arm they shall be as still as a stone; till thy
people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over,
which thou hast purchased.
17 Thou shalt bring
them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O
LORD, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O LORD, which thy hands have established.
18
The LORD shall reign for ever and ever.
19 For the horse of
Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry
land in the midst of the sea.
20 And Miriam
the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel
in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and
with dances.
21 And Miriam
answered them, Sing ye to the
LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his
rider hath he thrown into the sea.
22 So Moses brought
Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
23 And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah,
for they were bitter: therefore
the name of it was
called Marah.
24 And the people murmured
against Moses, saying,
What shall we drink?
25 And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and
there he proved them,
26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the
LORD thy God,
and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his
commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon
thee, which I have brought upon the
Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth
thee.
27 And they came to Elim, where were twelve
wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and they
encamped there by the waters.
Proverbs
6 My son, if thou be surety for thy friend,
if thou hast stricken thy hand with a
stranger,
2 Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken
with the words of thy mouth.
3 Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself,
when thou art come into the hand of thy friend; go, humble thyself,
and make sure thy friend.
4 Give not sleep to thine eyes, nor slumber
to thine eyelids.
5 Deliver thyself
as a roe from the hand of the hunter,
and as a bird from the
hand of the fowler.
6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
7 Which having
no guide, overseer,
or ruler,
8 Provideth her meat in the summer,
and gathereth her food in the harvest.
9 How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?
10 Yet a little sleep,
a little slumber,
a little folding
of the hands to sleep:
11 So shall thy poverty
come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed
man.
12
A naughty person,
a wicked man, walketh with a froward
mouth.
13 He winketh
with his eyes, he speaketh
with his feet, he teacheth
with his fingers;
14 Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief
continually; he soweth discord.
15 Therefore shall his calamity
come suddenly; suddenly
shall he be broken
without remedy.
16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent
blood,
18 An heart that deviseth
wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false
witness that speaketh
lies, and he that soweth
discord among brethren.
20 My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
21 Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck.
22 When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest,
it shall keep thee;
and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.
23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
24 To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery
of the tongue of a strange woman.
25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart;
neither let her take thee with her eyelids.
26 For by means of a whorish
woman a man is brought
to a piece of bread: and
the adultress will hunt for the precious life.
27
Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes
not be burned?
28 Can one go upon hot coals,
and his feet not be
burned?
29 So he that goeth in to his neighbour's wife; whosoever toucheth
her shall not be innocent.
30
Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy
his soul when he is hungry;
31 But if he be found, he shall restore
sevenfold; he shall
give all the substance
of his house.
32 But whoso
committeth adultery with a woman
lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.
33 A wound and dishonour
shall he get; and his reproach shall
not be wiped away.
34 For jealousy
is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of
vengeance.
35 He will not regard any ransom;
neither will he rest content,
though thou givest many gifts.
7 My son, keep my words,
and lay up my commandments with thee.
2 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.

15 Then the dukes of
Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them;
all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt
11 So shall thy poverty
come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed
man.
12
A naughty person,
a wicked man, walketh with a froward
mouth.
13 He winketh
with his eyes, he speaketh
with his feet, he teacheth
with his fingers;
14 Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief
continually; he soweth discord.
15 Therefore shall his calamity
come suddenly; suddenly
shall he be broken
without remedy.
16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent
blood,
18 An heart that deviseth
wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false
witness that speaketh
lies, and he that soweth
discord among brethren.
20 My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
21 Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck.
22 When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest,
it shall keep thee;
and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.
23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
24 To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery
of the tongue of a strange woman.
25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart;
neither let her take thee with her eyelids.
26 For by means of a whorish
woman a man is brought
to a piece of bread: and
the adultress will hunt for the precious life.
27
Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes
not be burned?
28 Can one go upon hot coals,
and his feet not be
burned?
29 So he that goeth in to his neighbour's wife; whosoever toucheth
her shall not be innocent.
30
Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy
his soul when he is hungry;
31 But if he be found, he shall restore
sevenfold; he shall
give all the substance
of his house.
32 But whoso
committeth adultery with a woman
lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.
33 A wound and dishonour
shall he get; and his reproach shall
not be wiped away.
34 For jealousy
is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of
vengeance.
35 He will not regard any ransom;
neither will he rest content,
though thou givest many gifts.
7 My son, keep my words,
and lay up my commandments with thee.
2 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.
3 Bind them upon thy fingers,
write them upon the table of thine heart.
4 Say unto wisdom,
Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman:
5 That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.
