How to Live Beyond the Possible!

Everything Is Possible for the One Who Believes!

By Riqui Ricón*

Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation (Exodus 19:5- 6a, KJV).

All the requests that God, your Father, continually makes to you in His Word, the Bible, contain a great Love for you. “Pay attention to my voice,” “listen to my Word,” “meditate on it day and night,” “seek my Word,” “keep it,” “treasure it,” and many others, like the one at the beginning of this reflection, demonstrate over and over again that God's Will for your life is to bless you.

God, the Almighty, does not need obedient creatures—He already has millions! And He can create more! What He wants, and asks of you, is for you to believe Him. That you believe His Word and trust Him as a Child trusts their Father, who loves them.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved (John 3:16-17, KJV).

The New Covenant, in the Blood of Jesus, is a covenant of Love! This is the first thing you have to believe: that despite how you have been or what you have done with your life, God loves you so much that He preferred to give up His own Son to pay for all your sins, rather than lose you.

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:4-6, KJV).

All your faults, failures, and sins were already paid for on that cross. Now, you have been transferred from death to life, from the power of darkness to the wonderful light of Christ Jesus.

Because He lives, you live! You have a totally New Life together with Jesus!

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17, KJV).

Can you believe this? Can you believe that what the Bible says is truly the Word of God? Can you believe God?

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23, KJV).

The difference between being an obedient creature and being called a special treasure or a Beloved Child by God lies in the fact that now you know and BELIEVE the Word of God. Now you BELIEVE God, who tells you that He has made you a totally new person.

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! (2 Corinthians 5:17, NLT).

The old nature, corrupt and sinful, which held you tied to sin, is dead; it is nailed to the cross of Christ.

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me (Galatians 2:20, KJV).

Please understand this: it doesn't matter if you don't feel this way, or if you keep thinking you are the same sinner you were before. This New Life does not depend on what you do or feel, but on what Jesus did out of Love for you by dying on that cross. His sacrifice is perfect, complete, and sufficient! It is written! It is the Word of God against your emotions, notions, or feelings. It is the Word of God against your way of judging yourself. It is the Word of God and it is the Truth!

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him (1 John 3:1, NIV).

God's Love for you is so amazing that now, through Jesus Christ, He Himself has called you His Son or Daughter. And that is what you are, a Beloved Child of God!

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever (1 Peter 1:23, KJV).

That's right, now you are a New kind of being that did not exist before; you are a Born Again Child of God, and not from a corruptible seed, but from the incorruptible seed which is the Word of God, which lives and remains forever.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10, KJV).

All of this is what God asks you to pay attention to when He tells you to give your ear to His Voice (His Word) and keep His Covenant.

But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises (Hebrews 8:6, KJV).

For it is by the Blood of the New Covenant in Jesus that you now enjoy the Eternal Life of the Children of God and, despite what the devil or the world may want to steal and kill and destroy, you have every right to make your New Life a Full and Abundant life.

for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me (Hebrews 13:5b-6, KJV).

All of this, and much more, is what makes you the Special Treasure of your heavenly Father. Be assured that you can trust Him. Everything God has said in His Word, the Bible, about you, He is going to do. Everything God has spoken

about you in His Word, the Bible, He is going to execute. For heaven and earth would sooner cease to exist than God would fail to fulfill His Word to you.

O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee (Psalm 84:12, KJV).

Learn to trust God, believe His Word, and you will be the happiest person on the planet.

Before, you were a lost sinner destined to suffer for all eternity in hell, but now you have been forgiven and bought with the Blood of Jesus, by which you have been constituted as the Special Treasure of your heavenly Father.

If you can believe, everything is possible for the one who believes!

Let’s pray out loud:

Beloved heavenly Father, You are truly amazing. Hearing You say in Your Word (despite what I did with my life) that I am Your special treasure, Your Beloved Child, makes me feel so much Love and gratitude for You, my God. Lord Jesus, thank You so, so much for everything You have done for me. Today I want to tell You that I love You with all my heart, that I am infinitely grateful to You. I have accepted this New Covenant in Your Blood and I am going to live according to Your Word, the Bible. I am, and will always be, the person that You, O God, say in Your Word that I am! More than a conqueror, through the Love of Christ! I can do all things through You, my Lord, who strengthens me! Greater are You, Holy Spirit, who are in me and with me, than any problem, disease, or circumstance! You, my beloved Jesus, took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses, and by Your stripes I was already healed. Therefore, I declare myself healed, free, and prosperous to make my New Life that Full and Abundant life that You, Lord Jesus, paid for me. Nothing and no one in this world can prevent me from fulfilling Your purpose, my God. I am Your Special Treasure! I am Your Beloved Child! In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Important Note:

How do I become a Child of God? How do I establish a relationship with the Almighty?

Just say the following prayer aloud, putting all your attention and heart into what you are saying to God:

Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God. That You came into this world, born of the virgin Mary, to pay for all my sins, and I have been a sinner. Therefore, today I say that I accept. I accept Your sacrifice on the cross! I accept Your precious Blood shed to the last drop out of love for me! I open my heart to You and invite You in because I want, Lord Jesus, that from today and forever You be my only and sufficient Savior, my God, my King, and my Lord.

Thank You, Almighty God, because with this simple prayer and profession of faith I have passed from death to Life, I have been transferred from darkness to Your marvelous Light. Today I have been Born Again! God, now I am Your Child! Now You are my Father! I will never be alone again! I will never live defeated again. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Three Recommendations:

What just happened by you recognizing Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life, according to God's Word, is that you have been Born Again. No longer as an ordinary human being, subject to the law of sin and death, but now as a legitimate and authentic Child of God, Born Again, exactly like Jesus Christ, who is now your Older Brother. Therefore, I give you these three, very important, recommendations:

1.    Pray. Praying is talking with God. So, find a quiet place where you can begin talking to Him about everything. Do it out loud, and you will notice how God always responds to your heart.

2.    Read and meditate on the Word of God. The Bible is the Word of God, so get a Bible and start reading and meditating on it. How do you begin? It’s very simple. Depending on the day, look up the reading program “The

Bible in One Year” and do the corresponding readings. You can get this program at: Through The Bible In One Year (palabradehonor.org). You will notice that the program is set up so you can print it as a booklet.

3.    In prayer with God, your Father, look for and join a Christian church or congregation where the Word of God is taught based on the Good News, which are the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Reading and Meditation on the Word of God

Do these daily readings, and by the end of one year you will have read the entire Bible.

February 18    Hebrews 13 / Exodus 18-19 / Proverbs 8 Hebrews

13 Let brotherly love continue.

2  Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

3  Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

4  Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

5  Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

6  So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

7  Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

8  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

9  Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

10  We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.

11  For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

12  Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

13  Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

14  For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

15  By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

16  But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

17  Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

18  Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

19  But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

20  Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

21  Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

22  And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.

23  Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.

24  Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.

25  Grace be with you all. Amen.

Exodus

18 When Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father in law, heard of all that God had done for Moses, and for Israel his people, and that the LORD had brought Israel out of Egypt;

2  Then Jethro, Moses' father in law, took Zipporah, Moses' wife, after he had sent her back,

3  And her two sons; of which the name of the one was Gershom; for he said, I have been an alien in a strange land:

4  And the name of the other was Eliezer; for the God of my father, said he, was mine help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh:

5  And Jethro, Moses' father in law, came with his sons and his wife unto Moses into the wilderness, where he encamped at the mount of God:

6  And he said unto Moses, I thy father in law Jethro am come unto thee, and thy wife, and her two sons with her.

7  And Moses went out to meet his father in law, and did obeisance, and kissed him; and they asked each other of their welfare; and they came into the tent.

8  And Moses told his father in law all that the LORD had done unto Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, and all the travail that had come upon them by the way, and how the LORD delivered them.

9  And Jethro rejoiced for all the goodness which the LORD had done to Israel, whom he had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians.

10  And Jethro said, Blessed be the LORD, who hath delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of Pharaoh, who hath delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians.

11  Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly he was above them.

12  And Jethro, Moses' father in law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God: and Aaron came, and all the elders of Israel, to eat bread with Moses' father in law before God.

13  And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to judge the people: and the people stood by Moses from the morning unto the evening.

14  And when Moses' father in law saw all that he did to the people, he said, What is this thing that thou doest to the people? why sittest thou thyself alone, and all the people stand by thee from morning unto even?

15  And Moses said unto his father in law, Because the people come unto me to enquire of God:

16  When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.

17  And Moses' father in law said unto him, The thing that thou doest is not good.

18  Thou wilt surely wear away, both thou, and this people that is with thee: for this thing is too heavy for thee; thou art not able to perform it thyself alone.

19  Hearken now unto my voice, I will give thee counsel, and God shall be with thee: Be thou for the people to God-ward, that thou mayest bring the causes unto God:

20  And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.

21  Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:

22  And let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for thyself, and they shall bear the burden with thee.

23  If thou shalt do this thing, and God command thee so, then thou shalt be able to endure, and all this people shall also go to their place in peace.

24  So Moses hearkened to the voice of his father in law, and did all that he had said.

25  And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

26  And they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought unto Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves.

27  And Moses let his father in law depart; and he went his way into his own land.

19 In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.

2  For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.

3  And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;

4  Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.

5  Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

6  And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

7  And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him.

8  And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.

9  And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.

10  And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,

11  And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

12  And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:

13  There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.

14  And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.

15  And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.

16  And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.

17  And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.

18  And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.

19  And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.

20  And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.

21  And the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.

22  And let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them.

23  And Moses said unto the LORD, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for thou chargedst us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.

24  And the LORD said unto him, Away, get thee down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up unto the LORD, lest he break forth upon them.

25  So Moses went down unto the people, and spake unto them.

Proverbs

8 Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?

2  She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.

3  She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.

4  Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.

5  O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.

6  Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.

7  For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

8  All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.

9  They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

10  Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.

11  For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.

12  I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.

13  The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

14  Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.

15  By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.

16  By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.

17  I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

18  Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.

19  My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.

20  I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:

21  That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

22  The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.

23  I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.

24  When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.

25  Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:

26  While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

27  When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:

28  When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:

29  When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

30  Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

31  Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

32  Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.

33  Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.

34  Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

35  For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.

36  But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.
