What to Do to Inherit Eternal Life!
Through the New Covenant!
By Riqui Ricón*
And he took the book of the
covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the
Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient. And Moses took the blood, and
sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant,
which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these
words. (Exodus 24:7-8, KJV)
The Bible is the Word of God and it does not lie. Every
day, as you meditate on it, you must always remember that
EVERYTHING, absolutely everything contained in it refers, in one way or
another, to the LOVE that God feels for you, and the blood of the covenant in
the Old Testament is no exception.
But God, who is rich in mercy, for
his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins,
hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace
ye are saved;) (Ephesians 2:4-5, KJV)
Out of
Love, God created the universe for you.
Out of Love, He has given you
life and designed an infallible plan so that you can escape the law of sin and
death. Out of Love, He gave His Son Jesus Christ to pay the price for your sins so as not to lose you, but on the contrary, by believing Him and believing His Word,
He gave you ETERNAL LIFE—a full and abundant life.
Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant
with the house of Israel, and
with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their
fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land
of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them,
saith the Lord: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel;
After those days,
saith the Lord,
I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in
their heart; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his
neighbour, and every man his
brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from
the least of them unto the greatest
of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember
their sin no more.
(Jeremiah 31:31-34, KJV)
Since the old covenant was invalidated because
of our inability to fulfill
it, God, out of Love, established a New Covenant, but now in the Blood of His own Son, Jesus.
Likewise also the cup after supper,
saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is
shed for you. (Luke 22:20, KJV)
It is through this New Covenant that the
Love of God grants you the right to Eternal
Life and elevates
you from the condition of a mere creature to being an authentic and legitimate beloved child
of the heavenly Father.
For God so loved
the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to
condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John
3:16-17, KJV)
God loves you so much that He preferred to give up His own Son rather
than lose you!
See how much our heavenly Father
loves us that he allows us to be called children of God. And the most wonderful thing is that we truly are! Naturally, since most people do not know
God, they do not understand why we are. (1 John
3:1, NLT)
God loves you so much that even though you were dead in trespasses and sins, He gave you
life together with Christ Jesus to call you and declare you His own child.
But now hath he obtained a more excellent
ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant,
which was established upon better promises. (Hebrews
8:6, KJV)
Now, if you look closely
into the perfect
law, the law of liberty
(the Bible), you will notice that Jesus is established
as the guarantor of this New Covenant, which is a better Covenant, established
upon better promises.
What better promise
than to be made part of the family of God!
Having predestinated us unto the adoption
of children by Jesus Christ to
himself, according to the good pleasure of his will. (Ephesians
1:5, KJV)
That's right, my beloved; today you can be
sure that God has not left you nor will He leave you. He has established a better Covenant
in the Blood of His Son
Jesus Christ to forgive all your sins and, in this way, give you the ETERNAL
LIFE that only a child of God has the right to have.
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of
God, which liveth and abideth for ever. (1 Peter
1:23, KJV)
Through the New Covenant in the Blood of Jesus,
God made you new!
This day you can emerge
more than a conqueror over every problem,
anguish, or illness, knowing that through the New Covenant in the Blood
of Jesus, you are a Born-Again child of God, and not of corruptible seed but of
the incorruptible seed which is the Word of God that lives and remains forever.
The thief cometh not, but for to
steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
(John 10:10, KJV)
This day, rest assured that you can emerge more than a conqueror over any problem, circumstance, or illness, knowing
that you have ETERNAL LIFE, and
this, through Christ Jesus, can only be a Full and Abundant Life.
And lo a voice
from heaven, saying,
This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well
pleased. (Matthew 3:17, KJV)
Today, through the New Covenant in the Blood
of Jesus, you can hear your heavenly Father tell you the same thing He told Jesus there at the Jordan: you are My BELOVED child, and in you I am
well pleased.
God is pleased
with you! He is pleased
when you BELIEVE
what He tells you in His Word.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh
to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that
diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6, NIV)
FAITH is believing God by believing
His Word.
Let’s pray out loud:
Beloved heavenly Father,
today I want to thank You for the great Love with which You have loved me.
Christ Jesus, I am more and more amazed every day by everything You have done
for me and in me. I am determined, with Your help, Holy Spirit, to change my
way of thinking, being transformed in the spirit of my mind. Regardless of the
circumstances of the moment or the way I feel today, I believe and declare that
I am that child You, my God and Father, have always desired: righteous, holy,
and perfect. I know it because it is written in Your Word and that is the
Truth. I am willing to leave behind all those negative emotions and thoughts of
failure and defeat. That old nature has nothing in me, for I have been regenerated in Christ Jesus
to live a full and victorious life. I
know it because the Bible says it; I believe it because it is Your Word of
Honor; and I prepare myself, with Your help, Holy Spirit, to live it. I will
live that prosperous life in health, love, peace, and joy that You, oh God,
desire for me. I, (your
name here), am a Born-Again child of God. I can do all things through Christ
who strengthens me, for greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world,
and that is You, Precious Spirit of God. I will not give place to the devil and his
lies in my life. I will not fear anymore! I cast out of my life all anxiety and restlessness. In
all things I am more than a conqueror through Him who loved me, Christ Jesus! I
have already been healed by the stripes of Jesus! I have been established to
reign in this life by the blood of Jesus! There is no way I can lose, for You,
my God and Father, are in me and with me,
and if God is for me, who can be against me? I am healed! I am free! I am prosperous! I am happy! In the
name of Jesus. Amen.
Important Note:
How do I become a Child of God? How do I establish a relationship with the
Almighty?
Just say the following prayer
aloud, putting all your attention
and heart into what you are saying to God:
Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of
God. That You came into this world, born
of the virgin Mary, to pay for all my sins, and I have
been a sinner. Therefore, today I say that I accept. I accept Your
sacrifice on the cross! I accept Your precious
Blood shed to the last drop out of love for me! I open my
heart to You and invite You in
because I want, Lord Jesus, that from today and forever You be my only and sufficient Savior, my
God, my King, and my Lord.
Thank You, Almighty God, because with this
simple prayer and profession of faith I have passed from death to Life, I have been transferred from darkness
to Your marvelous Light. Today I have been Born Again! God, now I am Your
Child! Now You are my Father! I will never be alone again! I will never live
defeated again. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Three Recommendations:
What just happened by you recognizing Jesus Christ as the Lord and
Savior of your life, according
to God's Word, is that you have been Born Again. No longer
as an ordinary human being, subject to the law of sin and death, but now as a
legitimate and authentic Child of God, Born Again, exactly like Jesus Christ, who is now your Older Brother. Therefore,
I give you these three, very important, recommendations:
1.
Pray. Praying is talking with God. So, find a quiet
place where you can begin talking to Him about everything. Do it out loud, and you will notice
how God always responds to your heart.
2.
Read and meditate
on the Word of God. The Bible
is the Word of God, so
get a Bible and start reading and meditating on it. How do you begin? It’s very simple. Depending on the day,
look up the reading program “The
Bible in One Year” and do the corresponding readings. You can get this program at: Through The Bible In One Year (palabradehonor.org). You will notice
that the program is set up so you can print it as a booklet.
3.
In prayer with God, your Father, look for and join a
Christian church or congregation where the Word of God is taught based
on the Good News, which are
the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

24 / Proverbs 11 Matthew
3 In those
days came John the Baptist,
preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
2 And saying,
Repent ye: for the kingdom
of heaven is at hand.
3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias,
saying, The voice
of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
4 And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was
locusts and wild honey.
5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea,
and all the region round about Jordan,
6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.
7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees
and Sadducees come to his baptism,
he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the
wrath to come?
8 Bring forth
therefore fruits meet for repentance:
9 And think not to say within
yourselves, We have Abraham to our father:
for I say unto you, that God
is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore
every tree which bringeth not
forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
11 I indeed
baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I
am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
12 Whose fan is in
his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat
into the garner;
but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
13 Then cometh
Jesus from Galilee
to Jordan unto John, to be baptized
of him.
14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest
thou to me?
15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it
becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
16 And Jesus,
when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water:
and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God
descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
17 And lo a voice from heaven,
saying, This is my beloved
Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Exodus
24 And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron,
Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye
afar off.
2 And Moses alone shall come near the
LORD: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with
him.
3 And Moses came
and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the
judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words
which the LORD hath said will we do.
4 And Moses
wrote all the words of the
LORD, and rose up early
in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve
pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
5 And he sent young men of the children
of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace
offerings of oxen unto the LORD.
6 And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons;
and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
7 And he took the
book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the
LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.
8 And Moses took the
blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said,
Behold the blood of the covenant,
which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.
9 Then went up Moses,
and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu,
and seventy of the
elders of Israel:
10 And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a
paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.
11 And upon the nobles
of the children of Israel
he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.
12 And the LORD said unto Moses,
Come up to me into the mount, and be there:
and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that
thou mayest teach them.
13 And Moses rose up, and his minister Joshua:
and Moses went up into the
mount of God.
14 And he said unto the elders,
Tarry ye here for us, until we come again
unto you: and, behold,
Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.
15 And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.
16 And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered
it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst
of the cloud.
17 And the sight of the glory
of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children
of Israel.
18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the
mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.

shall be watered also himself.
26 He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall be
upon the head of him that selleth it.
27 He that diligently seeketh
good procureth favour:
but he that seeketh mischief,
it shall come unto him.
28 He that trusteth in his riches shall fall; but the righteous shall flourish as a

the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.

Today, through the New Covenant in the Blood

FAITH is believing God by believing

Let’s pray out loud:
Beloved heavenly Father,
today I want to thank You for the great Love with which You have loved me.
Christ Jesus, I am more and more amazed every day by everything You have done
for me and in me. I am determined, with Your help, Holy Spirit, to change my
way of thinking, being transformed in the spirit of my mind. Regardless of the

Important Note:
How do I become a Child of God? How do I establish a relationship with the
Almighty?
Just say the following prayer
aloud, putting all your attention
and heart into what you are saying to God:
Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of
God. That You came into this world, born
of the virgin Mary, to pay for all my sins, and I have
been a sinner. Therefore, today I say that I accept. I accept Your

3.
In prayer with God, your Father, look for and join a
Christian church or congregation where the Word of God is taught based
on the Good News, which are
the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
6 And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons;
and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
Proverbs
11 A false balance
is abomination to the
LORD: but a just weight
is his delight.
2 When pride
cometh, then cometh
shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
3 The integrity
of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.
4 Riches profit
not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.
5 The righteousness of the perfect
shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.
6 The righteousness of the upright
shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.
7 When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of
unjust men perisheth.
8 The righteous
is delivered out of trouble,
and the wicked cometh in his stead.
9 An hypocrite with his mouth
destroyeth his neighbour: but through
knowledge shall the just be delivered.
10 When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting.
11 By the blessing of the upright
the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the
mouth of the wicked.
12 He that is void of wisdom
despiseth his neighbour: but a man of
understanding holdeth his peace.
13 A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful
spirit concealeth the matter.
14 Where no counsel is, the people
fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there
is safety.
15 He that is surety for a stranger shall smart for it: and he that hateth
suretiship is sure.
16 A gracious
woman retaineth honour:
and strong men retain riches.
17 The merciful
man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.
18 The wicked
worketh a deceitful
work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.
19 As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth
evil pursueth it to his own death.
20 They that are of a froward
heart are abomination to the LORD: but such as are upright in
their way are his delight.
21 Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.
22 As a jewel of gold in a swine's
snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion.
23 The desire
of the righteous is only good: but the expectation of the wicked is wrath.
24 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it
tendeth to poverty.
25 The liberal
soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth
shall be watered also himself.
26 He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall be
upon the head of him that selleth it.
27 He that diligently seeketh
good procureth favour:
but he that seeketh mischief,
it shall come unto him.
28 He that trusteth in his riches shall fall; but the righteous shall flourish as a
branch.
29 He that troubleth his own house shall inherit
the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.
30
The fruit of the righteous
is a tree of life; and he that winneth
souls is wise.
31 Behold, the righteous shall
be recompensed in the earth:
much more the wicked and the sinner.
