How Will This Year End for You?

How Will This Year End for You?

It Will Go Well for You!

By Riqui Ricón*

Tell the righteous that it will go well for them, for they will eat the fruit of their actions (Isaiah 3:10, KJV).

Reading and meditating on the Word of God is the most important daily habit in the life of any Son or Daughter of God who has been Born Again. Remember, without faith it is impossible to please God, your Father, and faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ (Romans 10:17, NIV).

What is FAITH? Why does FAITH come from hearing the Word of God?

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen

(Hebrews 11:1, KJV).

But how can you be sure of things you’re hoping for but can’t see? For

example, the restoration of your health when you’re feeling sick and the doctor’s diagnosis has already confirmed something negative; or when you have bills to pay and no money to do it. How can you be certain of what you hope for and convinced of what you do not yet see? How do you have FAITH?

By believing God—by believing His Word! All you need is to find in the Bible a promise God has made about your need, and then you can be fully sure and convinced that if God said it, He will do it; if He spoke it, He will bring it to pass.

God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? Listen, I received a command to bless; God has blessed, and I cannot reverse it! (Numbers 23:19–20, NLT).

Faith is the spiritual force that allows you to receive and make real everything God has for you. What truly pleases your Heavenly Father is that you live experiencing His Love, His Provision, and His Blessing in every area of your life.

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth (3 John 2, KJV).

So, as you read and meditate on the Bible, the faith you need is produced in you, so you can live the kind of life that pleases God. And Scripture itself declares that the righteous will live by faith.

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17, KJV).

The Good News of the Gospel is that the righteousness of God is revealed through believing God—by believing His Word. Because as it is written, God makes you righteous when you believe His Word:

And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness

(Genesis 15:6, KJV).

Only FAITH—which is believing God by believing His Word—makes you righteous before God.

But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty of our sins. For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he makes sinners right in his sight when they believe in Jesus (Romans 3:21–26, NLT).

So if God says in His Word that it will go well for the righteous—that blessing and goodness in this life belong to the one who is righteous—then these divine promises belong to you.

In this regard, the Bible—the Word of God, which does not lie—emphatically declares:

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2 Corinthians 5:21, KJV).

This means that in Christ Jesus, you have already been made the righteousness of God. You have been made righteous through the Blood of Jesus, who paid for all your sins when He died on that cross.

So without a doubt, you can declare: I am righteous, and it will go well for me in this life because if God says it, then He will fulfill it. If God spoke it, then He will bring it to pass!

The problem is that sometimes people, out of religious habit, say: “Well, I

don’t feel righteous. I’m just a sinner saved by grace.” Saying this is completely absurd and shows a total lack of understanding of the Word of God, because by His Grace you have been made saved, and therefore you can no longer remain a sinner.

But now, as the law and the prophets witnessed long ago, God has shown us His righteousness in a way different from the law. This is the righteousness of God that brings salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, without regard to who we are or what our past conduct has been. Because we have all sinned, and no one can claim a share in God’s glory by their own merit; but God, by pure grace, declares us righteous through the redeeming work of Jesus Christ. For God sent Jesus Christ to suffer the punishment we deserved, and through faith in His shed blood we receive the forgiveness of our sins. In this way, God has revealed His justice by generously absolving us and overlooking, in His patience, the sins previously committed. And now, in the present moment, He also reveals His saving justice, by which, being just Himself, He nevertheless acquits the transgressor, provided that this person puts their trust in Jesus. So what can we boast about regarding salvation? Absolutely nothing! And why not? Because the basis of our salvation does not rest on fulfilling the law of good works, but on obeying the law of faith in Christ. Therefore, we conclude that God declares us righteous and saves us through faith in Christ, without any claim to works done according to the law (Romans 3:21–28, CST).

Think about this: it’s not because of what you do or have done, and it’s not based on how you feel or see yourself today. It’s because of His Love and Grace, which you already received when you accepted Jesus as the Lord of your life.

So according to the Word of God, which does not lie, when Christ Jesus paid for all your sins with His Blood and His Life, you were justified. You are now legally righteous. The punishment needed for your peace fell on Him. You don’t owe anything anymore—Jesus paid it all out of Love—and your part now is to believe it and receive it, living out that full and abundant Life He purchased for you.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10, KJV).

If you’re wondering why, the answer is simple: because He loves you!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved (John 3:16–17, KJV).

God loves you so much that He chose to give up His own Son rather than lose you!

And if you ask me how I know this, the answer is just as simple: because it is written!

Beloved, no matter what problems, sicknesses, or hardships you’re facing today, get ready—because it’s going to go well for you in this life. That’s what the Lord says!

I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. You will have trials and sorrows in this world, but cheer up, for I have overcome the world (John 16:33, CST).

Take heart! God is with you! And if God is with you, who can be against you?

Let’s pray out loud:

Heavenly Father, thank You so much. I give You endless thanks for the great love with which You have loved me, because when I was dead in my sins and offenses, You gave me Life together with Christ. By Your Grace I was made righteous, by Your Grace I am saved, and together with Christ You caused me to be Born Again—but now as Your son/daughter. I am Born Again of the incorruptible seed, which is Your Word that lives and remains forever! Beloved Jesus, because of what You did for me, I do not receive any condemnation, for I do not live according to my flesh but according to Your Spirit. I am righteous! I am God’s righteousness! Therefore I claim my divine right to live a joyful and full life. I resist anguish, fear, sickness, poverty, bitterness, loneliness, and all depression. In the mighty Name of Christ Jesus, I,                     (your name here), call forth joy, peace, health, prosperity, and freedom to live a full and abundant life. Thank You, Lord Jesus. You did everything for me. I believe it and I receive it! It’s mine! It is my rightful claim in perfect justice! I will not allow anything or anyone to steal what You bought for me at such a great price.

Therefore, I accept and receive my victory over sin and its consequences, such as sickness, poverty, depression, fear, and anguish. I am free from all of them! I am healed! I am free! I am prosperous! I am blessed! I am a Born-Again Child of God! I will finish this year in victory. I will be above and not beneath. It will go well for me this year. In the Name of Jesus. Amen.

Important Note:

How do I become a Child of God? How do I establish a relationship with the Almighty?

Just say the following prayer aloud, putting all your attention and heart into what you are saying to God:

Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God. That You came into this world, born of the virgin Mary, to pay for all my sins, and I have been a sinner. Therefore, today I say that I accept. I accept Your sacrifice on the cross! I accept Your precious Blood shed to the last drop out of love for me! I open my heart to You and invite You in because I want, Lord Jesus, that from today and forever You be my only and sufficient Savior, my God, my King, and my Lord.

Thank You, Almighty God, because with this simple prayer and profession of faith I have passed from death to Life, I have been transferred from darkness

to Your marvelous Light. Today I have been Born Again! God, now I am Your Child! Now You are my Father! I will never be alone again! I will never live defeated again. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Three Recommendations:

What just happened by you recognizing Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life, according to God's Word, is that you have been Born Again. No longer as an ordinary human being, subject to the law of sin and death, but now as a legitimate and authentic Child of God, Born Again, exactly like Jesus Christ, who is now your Older Brother. Therefore, I give you these three, very important, recommendations:

1.    Pray. Praying is talking with God. So, find a quiet place where you can begin talking to Him about everything. Do it out loud, and you will notice how God always responds to your heart.

2.    Read and meditate on the Word of God. The Bible is the Word of God, so get a Bible and start reading and meditating on it. How do you begin? It’s very simple. Depending on the day, look up the reading program “The Bible in One Year” and do the corresponding readings. You can get this program at: Through The Bible In One Year (palabradehonor.org). You will notice that the program is set up so you can print it as a booklet.

3.    In prayer with God, your Father, look for and join a Christian church or congregation where the Word of God is taught based on the Good News, which are the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Reading and Meditation on the Word of God

Do these daily readings, and by the end of one year you will have read the entire Bible.

October 18    Revelation 18 / Isaiah 3-4 / Psalm 109.1-19 Revelation

18 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

2  And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

3  For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

4  And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

5  For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

6  Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

7  How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

8  Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

9  And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,

10  Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

11  And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:

12  The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,

13  And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.

14  And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.

15  The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,

16  And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

17  For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,

18  And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!

19  And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

20  Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

21  And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

22  And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;

23  And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

24  And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

Isaiah

3  For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water.

2  The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient,

3  The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.

4  And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.

5  And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.

6  When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand:

7  In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.

8  For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.

9  The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.

10  Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

11  Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.

12  As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.

13  The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people.

14  The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.

15  What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts.

16  Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:

17  Therefore the LORD will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.

18  In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,

19  The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers,

20  The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings,

21  The rings, and nose jewels,

22  The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins,

23  The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails.

24  And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.

25  Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.

26  And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground.

4  And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

2  In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.

3  And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:

4  When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

5  And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.

6  And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the day time from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

Psalm

109 Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise;

2  For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.

3  They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.

4  For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.

5  And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.

6  Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.

7  When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.

8  Let his days be few; and let another take his office.

9  Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.

10  Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.

11  Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour.

12  Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.

13  Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.

14  Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.

15  Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.

16  Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.

17  As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.

18  As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.

19  Let it be unto him as the garment which covereth him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually.
