How to Live the Rest of This Year!

Victory!

By Riqui Ricón*

And I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns! Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.”

Then the angel said to me, “Write: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.” Then I saw heaven opened, and there before me was a white horse,

whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron scepter. He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. (Rev 19:6-8, 9, 11-16 NIV)

Oh, how wonderful it is to say straight to Satan’s face: “I’ve read the end of the

book—we win!”

Unfortunately, far too many born-again Sons and Daughters of God live their lives hoping only to see and enjoy the day of victory at the very end of time. What a huge mistake! No wonder the Bible, which is God’s Word and never lies, teaches that:

Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. (Isa 5:13 KJV)

Beloved believer, victory is not something you get only at the final day—the victory was already obtained when Jesus gave His Life and His Spirit on that cross, crying: “It is finished!”

You are a Son/Daughter of the King of kings and Lord of lords, and you are here on earth to establish God’s kingdom. Your Father left you in this world to manifest the kingdom that our Lord Jesus Christ already obtained, and now you, His beloved Son/Daughter, are to make it visible here on earth.

For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” (Ro 1:17 NIV)

It’s not about creating something you don’t have; it’s about believing, receiving, and then manifesting (living) everything you already are. And you are, without exaggeration, exactly who God says you are in His Word, the Bible: righteous, holy, perfect in every way, more than a conqueror, and able to do all things.

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” (Mar 9:23 KJV)

The sword that comes from Jesus’ mouth is His Word, the Bible. It’s your responsibility to put God’s Word into your mind, mouth, and heart so that, like the widow told Elijah, everyone around you will say: “Now we see that you are a Son/Daughter of God, and that God’s Word is true in your mouth.” (1 Ki 17:24 KJV)

Making God’s Word the ultimate standard of your life was the command and guidance Joshua received from the Lord, so that he could fulfill God’s purpose of leading the people of Israel into the Promised Land. Without following this, he would never have succeeded.

In the same way, you have a mission and purpose to fulfill in this world, and you can only accomplish it by following the same advice. So make the Bible the ultimate standard for your life—meditate on it day and night, learn it, and speak it out as the answer and declaration of victory over all your problems,

illnesses, and needs. God Himself guarantees that your path will prosper and everything you do will succeed. Just do it!

Then you will stop doubting and fearing, and rise up with joy, authority, and power to manifest what Christ Jesus has already obtained for you: Victory!

Victory over sickness and death! Victory over sin! Victory over loneliness and sadness! Victory over every depression! Victory over failure! Victory over poverty and lack!

So, do not fear! You already know the end of the story: we win!

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. (Jn 16:33 CST)

Let’s pray out loud:

Beloved Heavenly Father, I am so grateful for the great love with which You have loved me, giving me life together with Christ Jesus. I believe and receive this overwhelming victory that You, Jesus, purchased for me with Your Blood. I resist the spirit of fear that tries to make me fail through sickness, poverty, depression, or any other affliction. I have not received a spirit of fear to fall back into slavery, but the Spirit of adoption, and today I cry out, Abba! Father! Thank You, Lord Jesus, I am born again to triumph, and I can do all things through You. With Your help, Holy Spirit, I am determined to rise up and live this victorious life that You won for me. I am healthy! I am free! I am prosperous! I am joyful! I am a Child of God! In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Important Note:

How do I become a Child of God? How do I establish a relationship with the Almighty?

Just say the following prayer aloud, putting all your attention and heart into what you are saying to God:

Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God. That You came into this world, born of the virgin Mary, to pay for all my sins, and I have been a sinner.

Therefore, today I say that I accept. I accept Your sacrifice on the cross! I accept Your precious Blood shed to the last drop out of love for me! I open my heart to You and invite You in because I want, Lord Jesus, that from today and forever You be my only and sufficient Savior, my God, my King, and my Lord.

Thank You, Almighty God, because with this simple prayer and profession of faith I have passed from death to Life, I have been transferred from darkness to Your marvelous Light. Today I have been Born Again! God, now I am Your Child! Now You are my Father! I will never be alone again! I will never live defeated again. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Three Recommendations:

What just happened by you recognizing Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life, according to God's Word, is that you have been Born Again. No longer as an ordinary human being, subject to the law of sin and death, but now as a legitimate and authentic Child of God, Born Again, exactly like Jesus Christ, who is now your Older Brother. Therefore, I give you these three, very important, recommendations:

1.    Pray. Praying is talking with God. So, find a quiet place where you can begin talking to Him about everything. Do it out loud, and you will notice how God always responds to your heart.

2.    Read and meditate on the Word of God. The Bible is the Word of God, so get a Bible and start reading and meditating on it. How do you begin? It’s very simple. Depending on the day, look up the reading program “The Bible in One Year” and do the corresponding readings. You can get this program at: Through The Bible In One Year (palabradehonor.org). You will notice that the program is set up so you can print it as a booklet.

3.    In prayer with God, your Father, look for and join a Christian church or congregation where the Word of God is taught based on the Good News, which are the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Reading and Meditation on the Word of God

Do these daily readings, and by the end of one year you will have read the entire Bible.

October 19    Revelation 19 / Isaiah 5-6 / Psalm 109.20-31 Revelation

19 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:

2  For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

3  And again they said, Alleluia And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.

4  And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.

5  And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.

6  And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

7  Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

8  And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

9  And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

10  And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

11  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

12  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

14  And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

15  And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16  And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

17  And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

18  That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

19  And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

20  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

21  And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Isaiah

5 Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:

2  And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.

3  And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.

4  What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?

5  And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:

6  And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.

7  For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.

8  Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!

9  In mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.

10  Yea, ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and the seed of an homer shall yield an ephah.

11  Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!

12  And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.

13  Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.

14  Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.

15  And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:

16  But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.

17  Then shall the lambs feed after their manner, and the waste places of the fat ones shall strangers eat.

18  Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:

19  That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it!

20  Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

21  Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

22  Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:

23  Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

24  Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

25  Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did

tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

26  And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:

27  None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:

28  Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses' hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind:

29  Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.

30  And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.

6 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

2  Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.

3  And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

4  And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

5  Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

6  Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:

7  And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

8  Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

9  And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

10  Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

11  Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,

12  And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.

13  But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.

Psalm

109.20 Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.

21  But do thou for me, O GOD the Lord, for thy name's sake: because thy mercy is good, deliver thou me.

22  For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.

23  I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am tossed up and down as the locust.

24  My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness.

25  I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shaked their heads.

26  Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to thy mercy:

27  That they may know that this is thy hand; that thou, LORD, hast done it.

28  Let them curse, but bless thou: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let thy servant rejoice.

29  Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.

30  I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.

31  For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.
