How to Solve Your Life!
With Purpose
and Destiny!
By Riqui Ricón
He causeth the grass to grow for
the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out
of the earth; And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth
man’s heart. (Psalm 104:14-15, KJV)
Today’s readings invite
us to reflect on the fact that God is the creator
and
maker of all truly good things, which He has destined for your possession.
The true bread that sustains the life of man
is His Word—it is the reality that God loves you, and because
you have believed,
recognized, and accepted
that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, who paid for all your sins on
the cross by dying in your place
and who also conquered death
by rising from the dead,
all out of love for you, you are now His child, born again through the
living and eternal Word of God.
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of
God, which liveth and abideth for ever. (1 Peter
1:23, KJV)
This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ—Good
News! Good News that produces joy and gladness instead
of mourning and the mantle
of sorrow that the world,
the spirit of distress, offers.
And they offered great sacrifices
that day, and rejoiced: for God had made them
rejoice with great
joy: the women also and the children rejoiced: and the joy of
Jerusalem was heard even afar off. (Nehemiah
12:43, KJV)
Every day, when you meditate on the goodness
and benefits God has poured into your life, always remember
that the greatest
of them all is His Word—the
Bible.
The Bible is the Word of God. This means that ALL the words in the Bible have come from the mouth of the living and true God, who cannot lie; therefore, all of them will be fully fulfilled.
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
(Luke 21:33, KJV)
And in this eternal and infallible Word of
God, He makes you know that He loves you so much that He preferred to give His own Son rather
than lose you.
For God so loved the world, that he gave
his only begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16,
KJV) For God sent not his Son into the
world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John
3:17, KJV)
This is why you are now a new creature, a born-again child of God, and you
know what? The best of your life lies ahead of you, not behind!
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed
away; behold, all things are become new. (2
Corinthians 5:17, KJV)
Without a doubt,
in this new nature, regeneration, or new birth,
it is God’s will that you
live a prosperous life, with health, peace, and great joy. How do I know? For
it is written in His Word:
And they offered great sacrifices
that day, and rejoiced: for God had made them
rejoice with great
joy: the women also and the children rejoiced: and the joy… was
heard even afar off. (Nehemiah 12:43, KJV)
Does God lie when He assures
you in Scripture: Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in
health, even as thy soul prospereth? (3 John 2, KJV)
No way! Always
remember that God cannot lie.
God is not a man, that he should
lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said,
and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not
make it good? Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath
blessed; and I cannot reverse it. (Numbers 23:19-20, KJV)
Thus, God the Creator, the Almighty, who has made all good things for you to enjoy, loves you so much that He has
elevated you from a mere mortal creature to an eternal child of the King.
The Almighty God has justified, forgiven, sanctified, and perfected you through
the death and resurrection of His Son Jesus, making you also His own child.
Now you are a member
of the Royal Family.
Your life is resolved! You can truly be happy in this world while
fulfilling the mission entrusted to you.
But ye are a chosen generation, a
royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:
Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had
not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. (1 Peter
2:9-10, NIV)
As I told you before,
these, my beloved,
are the Good News of the Gospel.
Not only have you been justified and forgiven in Christ Jesus, but you
have also been regenerated, renewed—made new—so that you are called by God His child.
Behold, what manner of love the
Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should
be called the sons of God: therefore
the world knoweth
us not, because it knew him not. (1 John
3:1, NIV)
You are no longer the same sinful,
wicked person you were before.
No! Now, according to the
Bible, which is God’s Word and cannot lie, you are an authentic, legitimate
born-again child of God.
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ
is born of God. (1 John 5:1, KJV)
All of this is reason enough to rejoice, for
now, having been born again, Almighty God is your Father,
and today, in any problem,
sickness, or affliction, He keeps and sustains you
with His right hand of justice and power.
God, your Father,
is the provider of wine, oil, and bread so that, despite
any circumstance, adversity, sorrow, death, or sickness, you can live a
full and abundant life through
Jesus Christ. So that you can live a life WITH meaning, because now you know who you are
and why you are in this life.
That ye might shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of
darkness into his marvellous light! (1 Peter
2:9, KJV)
Ye
are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith
shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast
out, and to be trodden under foot of men. (Matthew
5:13, KJV)
Ye
are the light of the world.
A city that is set on a hill cannot
be hid. (Matthew
5:14, KJV)
Go ye therefore, and teach all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the
Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. (Matthew
28:19-20, KJV)
And Jesus said unto them, Go ye
into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth
and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And
these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out
devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them;
they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mark
16:15-18, KJV)
Remember,
if God said it, He will fulfill
it; if God spoke,
He will execute it. God is not man to lie, nor son of man to
repent.
Blessed is the man that trusteth
in thee. They shall go from strength
to strength. (Psalm 84:5-12, KJV)
Your life on this earth does not have to be
a valley of tears, sadness, and suffering. Since the Bible, the Word of God, establishes that Jesus came to give you eternal life—a full and abundant
life that only God’s children can enjoy— then, without a doubt, you are the
blessed man or woman who has your strength in God, and His Word and ways in
your heart.
After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now
accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.
Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop,
and put it to his mouth. When
Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up
the ghost. (John 19:28-30, KJV)
If you are sighing
now thinking, “Maybe that’s
your experience Rich, I wish my
life were as beautiful as this…” remember: it is not about what you think your
life is or what you have done with it, but
what God says your life is now because of what He did for it. It is finished! It is done!
Good News! The loving
sacrifice Jesus made for you was perfect, complete, and finished. Nothing needs
to be added.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. (John
3:17, KJV)
The thief cometh not, but for to
steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
(John 10:10, KJV)
Jehovah of hosts, blessed
is the man that trusteth
in thee. (Psalm 84:12, KJV)
Thank you, Lord Jesus! I can trust in You!
Let’s pray out loud:
Beloved Heavenly Father,
I am very grateful for the love with which
You have loved me. Though I
was dead in trespasses and sins, You have given me life together with
Christ—not just any life, but eternal, full, and abundant life.
Because of Your great
love, You have made me a new creature, and all things old are behind me. I have
been justified and forgiven by Your
great love, which is Christ Jesus, my
Lord and Savior. I can declare that I am a born-again child of God, not of
corruptible seed but of the incorruptible seed that is Your Word, Lord. I can
trust You and be joyful. I receive
Your joy, which is my strength, and I declare with full
certainty that I, (your
name here), am the person Your Word, oh God, says I am. In every problem,
sickness, or affliction, I will be more than a conqueror because I can do all things
through Christ who strengthens me. Greater are You, Holy Spirit, who lives in
me and with me, than he who is in the world. I am a chosen generation, a royal
priesthood, a holy nation, a people acquired by God to proclaim the virtues of
Him who called me out of darkness
into His marvelous light. I have identity
and purpose! I am healthy! I am free! I am prosperous! I am joyful!
I am a child of God! In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Important Note:
How do I become a child of God? How can I establish a relationship with the
Almighty?
Just say the following prayer out loud,
putting all your attention and heart into what you are saying to God:
Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God. That You came
into this world, born of the virgin Mary, to pay for all my sins, and I have
been a sinner. That is why today I say to You: I do accept. I do accept Your
sacrifice on the cross! I do accept Your precious blood,
shed to the last drop out of love for me!
I open my heart and invite You to come in, because I want You, Lord Jesus, from this day forward
and forever, to be
my only and sufficient Savior,
my God, my King, and my Lord.
Thank You, Almighty God, because with this simple prayer and profession of
faith I have passed from death to Life; I have been transferred from darkness
into Your marvelous Light. Today I am Born Again!
God, now I am Your child! Now You are my
Father! I will never be alone
again! I will never live defeated
again. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Three Recommendations:
What just happened by you recognizing Jesus Christ as the Lord and
Savior of your life, according
to God's Word, is that you have been Born Again. No longer
as an ordinary human being, subject to the law of sin and death, but now as a
legitimate and authentic Child of God, Born Again, exactly like Jesus Christ, who is now your Older Brother. Therefore,
I give you these three, very important, recommendations:
1.
Pray. Praying is talking with God. So, find a quiet
place where you can begin talking to Him about everything. Do it out loud, and you will notice
how God always responds to your heart.
2.
Read and meditate
on the Word of God. The Bible is the Word of God, so get a Bible
and start reading
and meditating on it. How do you begin? It’s very simple. Depending on the day,
look up the reading program “The Bible in
One Year” and do the corresponding readings. You can get this program at: Through The Bible In One Year
(palabradehonor.org). You will notice that the program is set up so you can
print it as a booklet.
3.
In prayer with God, your Father,
look for and join a Christian church or congregation where the Word of God is taught
based on the Good News,
which are the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Revelations
9 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the
earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
2 And he opened
the bottomless pit; and there
arose a smoke out of the
pit, as the smoke
of a great furnace;
and the sun and the air were darkened by reason
of the smoke of the pit.
3 And there
came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth:
and unto them was
given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
4 And it was
commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither
any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their
foreheads.
5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their
torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from
them.
7 And the shapes of the locusts
were like unto horses prepared
unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
8 And they had hair as the hair of women,
and their teeth were as the
teeth of lions.
9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound
of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to
battle.
10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men
five months.
11 And they had a
king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue
is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue
hath his name Apollyon.
12 One woe is past; and, behold,
there come two woes more hereafter.
13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns
of the golden altar which is
before God,
14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet,
Loose the four angels which are
bound in the great river Euphrates.
15 And the four angels were loosed,
which were prepared
for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to
slay the third part of men.
16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred
thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
17 And
thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having
breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses
were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
18 By these
three was the third
part of men killed, by the fire, and by the
smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and
with them they do hurt.
20 And
the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands,
that they should
not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver,
and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
Nehemiah
12 Now these
are the priests
and the Levites
that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and
Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,
2 Amariah, Malluch,
Hattush,
3 Shechaniah, Rehum, Meremoth,
4 Iddo, Ginnetho, Abijah,
5 Miamin, Maadiah,
Bilgah,
6 Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah,
7 Sallu, Amok,
Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These
were the chief
of the priests and of their
brethren in the days of Jeshua.
8 Moreover the Levites: Jeshua,
Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, and Mattaniah,
which was over the thanksgiving, he and his brethren.
9 Also Bakbukiah
and Unni, their brethren, were over against
them in the watches.
10 And Jeshua
begat Joiakim, Joiakim
also begat Eliashib,
and Eliashib begat Joiada,
11 And Joiada begat Jonathan, and Jonathan begat
Jaddua.
12 And in the days of Joiakim
were priests, the chief
of the fathers: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;
13 Of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;
14 Of Melicu,
Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph;
15 Of Harim,
Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai;
16 Of Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;
17 Of Abijah,
Zichri; of Miniamin,
of Moadiah, Piltai:
18 Of Bilgah,
Shammua; of Shemaiah, Jehonathan;
19 And of Joiarib, Mattenai; of Jedaiah, Uzzi;
20 Of Sallai,
Kallai; of Amok,
Eber;
21 Of Hilkiah,
Hashabiah; of Jedaiah,
Nethaneel.
22 The Levites in the days of Eliashib, Joiada,
and Johanan, and Jaddua, were recorded chief of the fathers: also
the priests, to the reign of Darius the Persian.
23 The sons of Levi, the chief
of the fathers, were written in the book of the
chronicles, even until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.
24 And the chief of
the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren
over against them,
to praise and to give thanks,
according to the commandment of David the man of God, ward over against ward.
25 Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah,
Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub,
were porters keeping the ward at the thresholds of the gates.
26 These were in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor,
and of Ezra the priest, the scribe.
27 And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem
they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep
the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing,
with cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.
28 And the sons of the singers
gathered themselves together, both out of the
plain country round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi;
29 Also from the house of Gilgal,
and out of the fields
of Geba and Azmaveth:
for the singers had builded them villages round about Jerusalem.
30 And the priests and the Levites
purified themselves, and purified
the people, and the gates, and the wall.
31 Then I brought up the princes
of Judah upon the wall,
and appointed two great companies of them that gave
thanks, whereof one went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate:
32 And after them went Hoshaiah, and half of the princes
of Judah,
33 And Azariah,
Ezra, and Meshullam,
34 Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah,
35 And certain
of the priests' sons with trumpets; namely,
Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah,
the son of Michaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph:
36 And
his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical
instruments of David the man of God, and
Ezra the scribe before them.
37 And at the fountain
gate, which was over against
them, they went up by the
stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, above the house of
David, even unto the water gate eastward.
38 And the other company
of them that gave thanks
went over against
them, and I after them, and the half of the people upon the wall, from
beyond the tower of the furnaces even unto the broad wall;
39 And from above
the gate of Ephraim, and above
the old gate, and above
the fish gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even
unto the sheep gate: and they stood still in the prison gate.
40 So stood
the two companies of them that gave
thanks in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers
with me:
41 And the priests; Eliakim,
Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah,
Elioenai, Zechariah, and
Hananiah, with trumpets;
42 And Maaseiah, and
Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers
sang loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer.
43 Also
that day they offered great
sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made
them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that
the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.
44 And at that time were some appointed
over the chambers for the treasures,
for the offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them
out of the fields of the cities the portions of the law for the priests and
Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that waited.
45 And both the singers
and the porters kept the ward of their God, and the ward of the purification, according to
the commandment of David, and of Solomon his son.
46 For in the days of David and Asaph
of old there were chief
of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God.
47 And all Israel in the
days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah,
gave the portions of the singers and the porters, every day his portion:
and they sanctified holy things unto the Levites; and the Levites sanctified
them unto the children of Aaron.
Psalm
104 Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great;
thou art clothed with honour and
majesty.
2 Who coverest
thyself with light as with a garment:
who stretchest out the
heavens like a curtain:
3 Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters:
who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the
wings of the wind:
4 Who maketh
his angels spirits;
his ministers a flaming fire:
5 Who laid the foundations of the earth,
that it should
not be removed for ever.
6 Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment:
the waters stood above
the mountains.
7 At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.
8 They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.
9 Thou hast set a bound that they may not
pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.
10 He sendeth
the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.
11 They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses
quench their thirst.
12 By them shall the fowls of the heaven
have their habitation, which sing among the
branches.
13 He watereth
the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the
fruit of thy works.
14 He causeth
the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service
of man: that he may bring
forth food out of the earth;
15 And wine that maketh
glad the heart of
man, and oil to make his face to
shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.
16 The trees of
the LORD are full of sap; the cedars
of Lebanon, which
he hath planted;
17 Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork,
the fir trees are her house.
18 The high hills are a refuge
for the wild goats; and the rocks
for the conies.
19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth
his going down.
20 Thou makest
darkness, and it is night:
wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.
21 The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their
meat from God.
22 The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in
their dens.
23 Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour
until the evening.
