How to reign over your difficulties!
You are Blessed to reign.
By Riqui Ricón *
Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart
what is written in it, because the time is near. (Rev 1:3 NIV)
Most believers acknowledge the Bible as God’s
Word, but few are the ones
who take a moment to reflect upon what this means.
What is the Word of God?
Saying that the Bible is God’s Word means that EVERYTHING
that is written in It are
the Words that have come out from God’s mouth and, therefore, will fully come to
pass. Just like it was established by Jesus “heaven
and earth will pass away, but my words will never
pass away.”
At the same time, saying that the Bible is God’s
Word means that the Bible will
NEVER cease to be and, therefore, IT IS THE TRUTH.
This is the reason why you can reflect that,
according to the Bible, you
are
blessed for you have determined to read and BELIEVE God’s
Word.
It is, precisely, His Word the one who assures that He loves you so that he’d
rather give up His own Son before losing you.
For God so loved the world, that he
gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life. ( John 3:16 KJV)
Jesus loves you so much that He washed,
cleaned, away ALL of your sins with His
blood. By dying for you he paid EVERYTHING that you owed,
but when He resurrected, defeating death he gave
you the right to Eternal Life.
To him who loves us and has freed us from our
sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to
serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen. (Rev 1:5-6)
Why was this done? To make of you a genuine and legitimate Born Again Child of God and appoint you, in this life, as a king (queen) and
priest (priestess) for you Heavenly
Father.
His sacrifice of LOVE in that cross doesn’t only
give you the right of a place by His Side, in His Presence,
but it also established an eternal purpose
and destiny for your life
here on earth: To reign!
For if, by the
trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision
of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! (Ro 5:17 NIV)
Because Jesus loves
you and has washed away your sins with His blood, you can now reign in this life. For though
the sin of one man, Adam, caused death
to reign over all humanity, the marvelous grace of God and the gift of His
righteousness is even greater. For all who receive it will live in
victory over sin and death through one man, Jesus Christ.
Who shall separate
us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness,
or peril, or sword?
As it is written,
For thy sake we are killed all the day long;
we are accounted as sheep for
the slaughter.
Nay, in all these
things we are more than conquerors through
him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death,
nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other
creature, shall be able to separate us from
the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Ro 8:35-39 KJV)
Now you are God’s
Child and can reign over problems, disease,
poverty and
any adverse circumstance in your life.
When Jesus Christ died on that cross, his last words were: “It is
finished”. Which means that He already
did His part and now it’s your turn to do yours; which is to stop fearing, stop
grieving and start BELIEVING. Believe Him by believing His Word.
But when Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite,
and Geshem the Arab, heard it, they laughed
us to scorn, and despised us, and said,
What is this thing that ye do? will ye rebel against the king? (Nehemiah 2:19 KJV)
Maybe today your situation seems so difficult
that it wants to shout at you and
mock your faith in God’s Word, trying
to frighten you and make you
doubt that your Father will
fulfill His Word.
I replied, ‘The God of heaven will help us succeed. We, his servants, will start rebuilding
this wall. But you have no share, legal right, or historic claim in Jerusalem. (Neh 2.20 NLT)
What’s important here is that you are not like
Nehemiah; the king’s representative who had power and authority to rebuild the city of Jerusalem.
You are a Child of the King of kings and Lord of lords.
So whatever problem,
disease or affliction you are facing today, rise and begin to exercise
the authority and dominion that have been given to you as King and Priest for your God, your Father.
Let’s pray outloud:
Beloved Heavenly Father,
thank You so much because
in Your Word, the words that have come out of Your mouth,
You have declared me Your child through faith in Christ Jesus. Thank You, Lord
Jesus, because Your sacrifice was complete, perfect, and finished. Nothing was left
undone. I have been justified
by Your blood, and through Your life I have received Eternal Life—the full and
abundant life that only God’s children can enjoy. Thank You because Your Word, the Bible,
gives me the authority that, regarding
my former way of life, I may put off
the old self, which is corrupted by deceitful
desires, be renewed in the
spirit of my mind, and put on the new self, created according to God in true
righteousness and holiness.
So today I come to You, Abba, Father; I
repent of all my sins and ask You for forgiveness. I have failed, and this is
something I do not want to do anymore. Holy Spirit, cleanse me from all
unrighteousness; help me believe that I am truly Your child, created
in righteousness and holiness of the truth,
and that by faith, none of that old self will ever
manifest again in my life. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has
set me free from the law of sin and death.
God, I am what Your Word says I am: Your beloved
child. Therefore, I know that I know, and I declare it—that
in every problem, sickness, or affliction, I am
more than a conqueror through Your love, Christ Jesus. I can do all things! I
reject every thought or feeling of
condemnation in my life! I am Born Again! I walk, live, think, and breathe
according to the Spirit! I am not conformed to my
flesh! The law of the Spirit of life
in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death!
I am determined, with Your help, Holy Spirit,
to stand firm in
the freedom with which Christ has made me free, and I will never again be
subject to a yoke of slavery! So with the authority You have given me, Father,
I resist the spirit of fear and doubt, and I cast out from my life sickness,
poverty, sadness, and depression. I receive my health, prosperity, freedom, and
joy. I am healed! I am free! I am prosperous! I am blessed! In the name of
Jesus. Amen.
Important Note:
How do I become a child of God? How can I establish a relationship with the
Almighty?
Just say the following prayer out loud,
putting all your attention and heart into what you are saying to God:
Lord Jesus, I believe
that You are the Son of God. That You came into this world, born of the virgin
Mary, to pay for all my sins, and I have been a sinner. That is why today I say
to You: I do accept. I do accept Your sacrifice on the cross! I do accept
Your precious blood,
shed to the last drop out of love for me!
I open my heart and invite You to come in, because I want You, Lord Jesus, from this day forward
and forever, to be
my only and sufficient Savior,
my God, my King, and my Lord.
Thank You, Almighty God, because with this simple prayer and profession of
faith I have passed from death to Life; I have been transferred from darkness
into Your marvelous Light. Today I am Born Again!
God, now I am Your child! Now You are my
Father! I will never be alone
again! I will never live defeated
again. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Three Recommendations:
What just happened by
you recognizing Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life, according to God's Word, is that you have been Born Again. No longer
as an ordinary human being, subject to the law of sin and death, but now as a
legitimate and authentic Child of God, Born Again, exactly like Jesus Christ, who is now your Older Brother. Therefore,
I give you these three, very important, recommendations:
1. Pray. Praying is
talking with God. So, find a quiet place where you can begin talking
to Him about everything. Do it out loud, and you will notice
how God always responds to your heart.
2. Read and meditate
on the Word of God. The Bible is the Word of God, so get a Bible
and start reading
and meditating on it. How do you begin? It’s very simple. Depending on the day,
look up the reading program “The Bible in
One Year” and do the corresponding readings. You can get this program at: Through The Bible In One Year
(palabradehonor.org). You will notice that the program is set up so you can
print it as a booklet.
3. In prayer with God,
your Father, look for and join a Christian church or congregation where
the Word of God is taught based on the Good News, which are the Gospel of Jesus
Christ.

Revelation
1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony
of Jesus Christ,
and of all things that he
saw.
3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those
things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him
which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits
which are before his throne;
5 And from Jesus
Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father;
to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye
shall see him, and they also which
pierced him: and all kindreds
of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending,
saith the Lord,
which is, and which was, and which is to come, the
Almighty.
9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom
and patience of Jesus Christ, was in
the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of
Jesus Christ.
10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's
day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega,
the first and the last: and, What thou seest,
write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto
Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned,
I saw seven golden candlesticks;
13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed
with a garment down to the foot, and
girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were
as a flame of fire;
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace;
and his voice as the sound of
many waters.
16 And he had in his right hand seven
stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth
in his strength.
17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the
first and the last:
18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold,
I am alive for evermore,
Amen; and have the keys of
hell and of death.
19 Write the things which
thou hast seen,
and the things
which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
20 The mystery
of the seven stars which
thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven
stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven
candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
Nehemiah
1
The words of Nehemiah
the son of Hachaliah. And it came to pass in the month
Chisleu, in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan the palace,
2
That Hanani, one of my brethren, came, he and certain men of Judah;
and I asked them concerning the Jews that had escaped, which were left
of the captivity, and
concerning Jerusalem.
3
And they said unto me, The remnant that are
left of the captivity there in the
province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are
burned with fire.
4
And it came to pass,
when I heard these words,
that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and
prayed before the God of heaven,
5
And said, I beseech thee, O LORD God of heaven,
the great and terrible God, that
keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments:
6
Let thine
ear now be attentive, and thine eyes
open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant,
which I pray before thee now, day and night,
for the children
of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father's house have sinned.
7
We have dealt
very corruptly against
thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which thou commandedst thy servant Moses.
8
Remember, I beseech
thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter you abroad among the nations:
9
But if ye turn unto me, and keep my
commandments, and do them; though
there were of you cast out unto
the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring
them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name
there.
10
Now these are thy servants
and thy people,
whom thou hast redeemed by thy
great power, and by thy strong hand.
11
O LORD, I beseech thee,
let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy
servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the
king's cupbearer.
2 And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine,
and gave it unto the king. Now I had not been beforetime sad in his
presence.
2 Wherefore the king said unto me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing else but sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore afraid,
3 And said unto the king, Let the king live for ever: why should not my countenance be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers'
sepulchres, lieth waste,
and the gates thereof are consumed with fire?
4 Then the king said unto me, For what dost thou make request?
So I prayed to the God of heaven.
5 And I said unto the king, If it please the king, and if thy servant have found favour
in thy sight, that thou wouldest send me unto Judah, unto the city of my fathers' sepulchres, that I may build it.
6 And the king said unto me, (the queen also sitting
by him,) For how long shall thy journey be? and when wilt thou return? So it pleased
the king to send me; and I set
him a time.
7 Moreover I said unto the king,
If it please the king,
let letters be given me to the governors beyond the river, that they may convey
me over till I come into Judah;
8 And a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king's
forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the palace which appertained to the
house, and for the wall of the city,
and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king granted
me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.
9 Then I came to the governors beyond the river,
and gave them the king's letters.
Now the king had sent captains
of the army and horsemen
with me.
10 When Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, heard of it, it
grieved them exceedingly that there was come a man to seek the welfare of the
children of Israel.
11 So I came to Jerusalem, and was there three days.
12 And I arose in the night, I and some few men with me; neither
told I any man what my
God had put in my heart to do at Jerusalem: neither
was there any beast with me,
save the beast that I rode upon.
13 And I went out by night
by the gate of the valley, even before the dragon well,
and to the dung port, and viewed the walls of Jerusalem, which were broken down, and the gates thereof
were consumed with fire.
14 Then I went on to the gate of the fountain,
and to the king's pool: but there was no place for the beast that was under me
to pass.
15 Then went I up in the night by the brook,
and viewed the wall, and turned back, and entered by the gate of the
valley, and so returned.
16 And the rulers knew not whither
I went, or what I did; neither
had I as yet told it to the Jews, nor to the priests, nor to
the nobles, nor to the rulers, nor to the rest that did the work.
17 Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates
thereof are burned
with fire: come, and let us build up the wall
of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.
18 Then I told them
of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king's words that he had spoken
unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build.
So they strengthened their hands for this good work.
19 But when Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian, heard it, they laughed us to scorn,
and despised us, and said, What is this thing that ye do? will
ye rebel against the king?
20 Then answered
I them, and said unto them, The God of heaven, he will prosper
us; therefore we his servants will arise
and build: but ye have no
portion, nor right, nor memorial,
in Jerusalem.
Psalms
96 O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.
2 Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.
3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
4 For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised:
he is to be feared above all gods.
5
For all the gods of the nations
are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.
6 Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
7 Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people,
give unto the LORD glory and strength.
8 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering,
and come into his courts.
9 O worship
the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
10 Say among the heathen
that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established
that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.
11 Let the heavens rejoice,
and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.

of the earth shall wail because of him.
And being turned,
I saw seven golden candlesticks;
13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed
with a garment down to the foot, and
girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were
as a flame of fire;
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace;
and his voice as the sound of
many waters.
19 Write the things which
thou hast seen,
and the things
which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
Chisleu, in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan the palace,
2
That Hanani, one of my brethren, came, he and certain men of Judah;
and I asked them concerning the Jews that had escaped, which were left
of the captivity, and
concerning Jerusalem.
So it pleased
the king to send me; and I set
him a time.
7 Moreover I said unto the king,
If it please the king,
let letters be given me to the governors beyond the river, that they may convey
me over till I come into Judah;
12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein:
then shall all the trees of the wood
rejoice
13 Before the LORD: for he cometh,
for he cometh to judge the earth:
he shall judge the world with righteousness, and
the people with his truth.
