The Lamb of God!
By
Riqui Ricón*
Come now, and let us reason
together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as
white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall
eat the good of the land. (Isaiah 1:18–19 KJV)
In today’s meditation, I can hear
the Lord saying to you: Come, let’s make things clear, let’s settle this matter once and for all. Are your sins
like scarlet? They will be white as snow! Are they red like
crimson? They will be as clean as wool! Are you willing to obey? You will
eat the best of the land!
This is amazing and very comforting, but how is it achieved?
Pay close attention, because
when John the Baptist saw Jesus for the first
time, he made one of the most astonishing declarations ever heard:
The
next day John saw Jesus coming toward
him and said, “Behold! The Lamb
of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29, NKJV)
This means that there IS a way, that there
truly is a way to take away sin—not
just to cleanse it or forgive it, but to remove it, to eradicate it. And the
Bible, which is God’s Word of Honor, is very clear in teaching you that this is
only possible through Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God!
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal
life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans
6:23, NIV)
Even though
you were a sinner and destined for death, God loves you so much that He preferred to give up His own Son, Jesus Christ,
to pay for ALL your sins,
rather than lose you.
For God so loved the world, that he
gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to
condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John
3:16-17 KJV)
According to the Word of God, by
believing that Jesus is the Son of God who died out of love for you, paying the
just penalty for your sins, and by receiving Him as Lord and Savior of your life,
you are Born Again—not
just as an ordinary human
being, but now you are, legally and legitimately, a Born Again Child of God.
This gives you the right to the gift and inheritance of your heavenly Father:
Eternal Life!
Therefore,
there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through
Christ Jesus the law of the
Spirit who gives life has set you free
from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:1-2, NIV)
So, Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, resolved
the problem of sin once and for all.
You have Eternal Life, and this means you are free from the law of sin and
death. Sin can no longer rule over you! It is defeated and under your feet!
Knowing this, you can understand why the Bible affirms that the wages of sin is
death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. Not just life, but
ETERNAL LIFE.
These
shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King
of kings: and they that are with him are called,
and chosen, and faithful. (Revelation 17:14 KJV)
That’s right, my friend,
Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes
away the sin of the world, and at the end of time, Satan and his demons will fight against Him, and
He will be victorious because He is King of kings and Lord of lords. And you,
who are with Him and in Him, are called, chosen, and faithful.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the
Father except through Me.” (John 14:6 NKJV)
As you can see, you have accepted and acknowledged Jesus as the Lord and Savior of your life, therefore, you
are indeed called, chosen, and faithful.
Blessed be the God and Father
of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the
heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of
the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having
predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure
of His will, to the praise of
the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. In Him we
have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the
riches of His grace. (Ephesians 1:3-7 NKJV)
You are a beloved
Child of God according to the pure affection of His will for
you!
Now it’s your turn to BELIEVE and receive that great love
with which He has loved you, for you, being dead in sins and in the
uncircumcision of your flesh, He gave you life together with Christ Jesus,
forgiving you all your sins, canceling
the record of the charges that was against you, which was contrary to you,
taking it out of the way and nailing it to the cross, and having disarmed
principalities and powers,
He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross.
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are
in Christ Jesus, who do not walk
according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit
of life in Christ Jesus
has made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans
8:1-2 NKJV)
The
matter of sin was totally resolved by Jesus with a resounding victory over
death! He died and rose again! This is the New Life, this is the Eternal Life
that has now been given to you by receiving Him as Lord and Savior
of your life. This is the
Gospel: Good News! You have been Born Again!
Let us pray aloud:
Thank
You, Lord Jesus, You are the Lamb of God and You have taken away, erased, all my sins, bearing them on the cross to triumph there.
You have set me free from the law of sin and
death, and now I live under the law of the Spirit of Life in You, my Lord.
Because You live, I live. Because You have overcome, I am more than a
conqueror. Now I can believe and receive this
great Love with which You
have loved me, making me worthy to receive the Eternal and abundant Life that, as Your Word says, I deserve. I believe it and I receive it in Your name, Jesus.
Beloved
Heavenly Father, what then shall I say to all this? If You are for me, who can
be against me? If You did not spare Your own Son, but gave Him up for me out of love, how will You not also, along with Him, graciously give me all things?
Who will bring any charge against me? I am chosen by God and You, Father, have
already justified me. Who then is the one who condemns? Christ is the one who
died and paid for me; more than that, who was raised to life, who is also at
the right hand of God and is also interceding for me at every moment. Who shall
separate me from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution
or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: For Your sake we
face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered. Yet in
all these things I, (your name here), am more than a conqueror
through Him who loves me. For I am convinced that neither death nor life,
neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to
separate me from Your Love, oh God, that is in Christ Jesus my Lord. Therefore,
I accept and receive my victory over sin and its consequences such as sickness,
poverty, depression, fear, and anguish. I am free from all of them! I am healed!
I am free! I am prosperous! I am blessed! I am a Born Again Child of God! In
the name of Jesus. Amen.

Important Note:
How do I become
a Child of God? How do I establish a relationship with the
Almighty?
Just say the following prayer aloud, putting
all your attention
and heart into what you are saying to God:
Lord Jesus, I believe that
You are the Son of God. That You came into this world, born of the virgin
Mary, to pay for all my
sins, and I have been a sinner.
Therefore, today I say that I accept. I accept Your sacrifice on the cross! I
accept Your precious Blood shed to the last drop out of love for me! I open my
heart to You and invite You in because I want, Lord Jesus, that from today
and forever You be my only and sufficient Savior, my God, my King, and
my Lord.
Thank You, Almighty God, because with this
simple prayer and profession of faith I have passed from death to Life, I have been transferred from darkness
to Your marvelous Light. Today I have been Born Again!
God, now I am Your Child! Now You are my Father! I will
never be alone again! I will never live defeated again. In the name of Jesus.
Amen.

Three Recommendations:
What just happened by
you recognizing Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life, according to God's Word, is that you have been Born Again. No longer
as an ordinary human being, subject to the law of sin and death, but now as a
legitimate and authentic Child of God, Born Again, exactly like Jesus Christ, who is now your Older Brother. Therefore,
I give you these three, very important, recommendations:
1. Pray. Praying is
talking with God. So, find a quiet place where you can begin talking
to Him about everything. Do it out loud, and you will notice
how God always responds to your heart.
2. Read and meditate
on the Word of God. The Bible is the Word of God, so get a Bible
and start reading
and meditating on it. How do you begin? It’s very simple. Depending on the day,
look up the reading program “The Bible in
One Year” and do the corresponding readings. You can get this program at: Through The Bible In One Year
(palabradehonor.org). You will notice that the program is set up so you can
print it as a booklet.
3. In prayer with God,
your Father, look for and join a Christian church or congregation where
the Word of God is taught based on the Good News, which are the Gospel of Jesus
Christ.

Revelation
17 And there came one of
the seven angels which had the seven
vials, and talked with me, saying
unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment
of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made
drunk with the wine of her fornication.
3 So he carried me away in the spirit
into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of
names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour,
and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls,
having a golden
cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5 And upon her forehead
was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
6
And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw
her, I wondered with great admiration.
7 And the angel
said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman,
and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads
and ten horns.
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend
out of the bottomless pit,
and go into perdition: and they
that dwell on the earth shall wonder,
whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the
world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
9 And here is the mind which
hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains,
on which the woman sitteth.
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen,
and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must
continue a short space.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and
goeth into perdition.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the
beast.
13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome
them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen,
and faithful.
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest,
where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations,
and tongues.
16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the
beast, these shall hate the whore,
and shall make her desolate
and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree,
and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the
words of God shall be fulfilled.
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth
over the kings of the earth.
Isaiah
1
The vision of Isaiah the son of
Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah
and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham,
Ahaz, and Hezekiah,
kings of Judah.
2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth:
for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and
they have rebelled against me.
3 The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's
crib: but Israel
doth not know, my people doth not consider.
4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity,
a seed of evildoers, children
that are corrupters: they have forsaken
the LORD, they have provoked
the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away
backward.
5 Why should
ye be stricken any more?
ye will revolt
more and more:
the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
6 From the sole of the foot
even unto the head there is no
soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises,
and putrifying sores:
they have not been closed,
neither bound up, neither
mollified with ointment.
7 Your country
is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.
8 And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage
in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden
of cucumbers, as a besieged city.
9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant,
we should have been as Sodom, and we should have
been like unto Gomorrah.
10 Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.
11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt
offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of
bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
12 When ye come to appear before me, who hath required
this at your hand, to tread
my courts?
13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense
is an abomination unto me; the new moons
and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity,
even the solemn meeting.
14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble
unto me; I am weary to bear them.
15 And when ye spread
forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear:
your hands are full of blood.
16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings
from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
17 Learn to do well;
seek judgment, relieve
the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
18 Come now, and let us
reason together, saith the LORD: though
your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If ye be willing
and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if ye refuse
and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword:
for the mouth of
the LORD
hath
spoken it.
21 How is the faithful
city become an harlot! it was full of judgment;
righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.
22 Thy silver
is become dross,
thy wine mixed with water:
23 Thy princes
are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth
gifts, and followeth after
rewards: they judge not the
fatherless, neither doth the cause of the
widow come unto them.
24 Therefore saith the LORD, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel,
Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies:
25 And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross,
and take away all thy tin:
26 And I will
restore thy judges as at the
first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt
be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.
27 Zion shall be redeemed
with judgment, and her converts
with righteousness.
28 And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.
29 For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which ye have desired,
and ye shall be confounded
for the gardens that ye have chosen.
30 For ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth,
and as a garden that hath no water.
31 And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker
of it as a spark,
and they shall both
burn together, and none shall quench them.
2 The word that Isaiah the son
of Amoz saw concerning Judah
and Jerusalem. 2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain
of the LORD's house
shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3
And many people
shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the
LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk
in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word
of the LORD from Jerusalem.
4
And he
shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many
people: and they shall beat their
swords into plowshares, and their spears
into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against
nation, neither shall they
learn war any more.
5 O house of Jacob,
come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.
6
Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of
Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of
strangers.
7
Their land also is full of silver
and gold, neither
is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of
horses, neither is there any end of
their chariots:
8
Their land also is full of idols;
they worship the work of their own hands, that which
their own fingers have made:
9
And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth
himself: therefore forgive
them not.
10
Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the
LORD, and for the glory
of his majesty.
11
The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall
be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
12
For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty,
and upon every one that is lifted
up; and he shall be brought low:
13
And upon all the cedars
of Lebanon, that are high and lifted
up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,
14
And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,
15
And upon every high tower,
and upon every fenced wall,
16
And upon all the ships of Tarshish,
and upon all pleasant pictures.
17
And the loftiness
of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be
exalted in that day.
18 And the idols he shall utterly
abolish.
19
And they
shall go into the holes of the
rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his
majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
20
In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver,
and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to
worship, to the moles and to the bats;
21
To go into the clefts
of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks,
for fear of the
LORD, and for the glory of his majesty,
when he ariseth
to shake terribly
the earth.

Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be
accounted of ?
Psalms
108 O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
2 Awake, psaltery
and harp: I myself will awake early.
3 I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises
unto thee among the nations.
4 For thy mercy is great above
the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.
5 Be thou exalted, O God, above
the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;
6 That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer
me.
7 God hath spoken in his holiness;
I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem,
and mete out the valley of Succoth.
8 Gilead is mine; Manasseh
is mine; Ephraim
also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;
9 Moab is my washpot;
over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I
triumph.
10 Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings
from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
17 Learn to do well;
seek judgment, relieve
the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
18 Come now, and let us
reason together, saith the LORD: though
your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If ye be willing
and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if ye refuse
and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword:
for the mouth of
the LORD
hath
spoken it.
21 How is the faithful
city become an harlot! it was full of judgment;
righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.
8
Their land also is full of idols;
they worship the work of their own hands, that which
their own fingers have made:
9
And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth
himself: therefore forgive
them not.
10
Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the
LORD, and for the glory
of his majesty.
11
The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall
be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
12
For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty,
and upon every one that is lifted
up; and he shall be brought low:
13
And upon all the cedars
of Lebanon, that are high and lifted
up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,
14
And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,
15
And upon every high tower,
and upon every fenced wall,
16
And upon all the ships of Tarshish,
and upon all pleasant pictures.
17
And the loftiness
of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be
exalted in that day.
18 And the idols he shall utterly
abolish.
19
And they
shall go into the holes of the
rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his
majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
20
In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver,
and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to
worship, to the moles and to the bats;
21
To go into the clefts
of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks,
for fear of the
LORD, and for the glory of his majesty,
when he ariseth
to shake terribly
the earth.
22
Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be
accounted of ?

do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
