How to Know God’s Will for Your Life!
Good, Pleasing, and Perfect!
By Riqui Ricón*
When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up. In the multitude
of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul. (Psalm
94:18–19 KJV)
The most wonderful thing about
being a Born Again Child of God is that you can fully trust your Heavenly Father.
It is His Mercy that sustains you! It is His
consolations that bring joy to your soul!
Lord of hosts, blessed is the man (and woman)
who trusts in you.
(Psalm 84:12 KJV)
The Word of God is God’s Honor,
and therefore, you have absolute
certainty to
live the Victorious Life offered to you through
it.
It may seem to you that you are about to slip and fall before some problem or adverse circumstance, but the Truth is that God sustains
you with His Love and mercy, and (if you can believe it), He
has ordered that you be given a
garment of joy instead of a spirit of heaviness, offering peace and
joy to your soul (your thoughts
and emotions), instead of fear and affliction.
But the Lord
has been my defense, and my God the rock of my refuge. (Psalm 94:22
KJV)
So, to start this day well, you
must clearly establish in your life and heart that according to the Word of God, you
are the most important person to God.
He loves you so much that He preferred to give up His own Son rather
than lose you!
For God so loved the world, that he
gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not
his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through
him might be saved. (John 3:16-17 KJV)
Therefore, God has not left you, nor will He ever leave you; and He has also decreed Eternal Words of Love and
Blessing over your Life.
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper
and be in health, even as
thy soul prospereth. (3 John 2 KJV)
Do you see? Neither
poverty, nor sickness,
nor anything else that robs you of joy and peace will ever be the will of
God, your Father!
Since God’s good will for you is pleasing and perfect, you can then stop being
afraid and start believing.
Do not conform to the pattern
of this world,
but be transformed by the
renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s
will is—his
good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2 NIV)
Change your way of thinking and you will change your way of speaking!
To achieve
this, you need to make the firm decision to make the Bible the highest standard
of your life, and I assure you that you will no longer allow
any problem, sickness, or circumstance to settle in your life against the will of God.
You will keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on you, because
he trusts in you. (Isaiah 26:3 KJV)
Trust in God and do not allow the appearance of your
circumstances to fill you
with fear, doubt, or discouragement to rob you of your faith [which is believing God, believing His Word].
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again
to fear, but you received
the
Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
(Romans 8:15 KJV)
You can, like
your Father, call things that are not as though they were, so submit to the
Word of God and resist fear, poverty, and sickness by calling forth faith
[which is believing God, believing His Word], calling forth the prosperity and health that Christ Jesus already bought
for you at the price
of His Blood.
It is your right!
This Book of the Law
shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may
observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good
success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever
you go. (Joshua 1:8-9 KJV)
Change your way of thinking and you will change your way of speaking!
Make the Bible the highest
standard of your life by putting it in your mind, mouth, and heart, because
then, not before, nor after, nor in any other way, but then you will make your way prosperous and EVERYTHING will go well for
you.
Lord of hosts, blessed is the man (and woman)
who trusts in you.
(Psalm 84:12 KJV)
God does not lie. He has said it and He will do it. He has spoken
it and He will accomplish it.
See
what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called
children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know
us is that it did not know him. (1 John 3:1 NIV)
You are that
Child of God who trusts in their Father and you know, that you know, that your life is
already resolved. Jesus resolved it by dying on that cross,
paying for all your sins, and by rising again, conquering death to give you
Eternal Life; which is the Life that only a Born Again
Child of God has the RIGHT
to enjoy.
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and
to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that
they may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10 KJV)
A full and abundant Life. Jesus
said it: It is finished!
So, if you have faith (and I know you do), you can agree with me in this, despite your circumstances, be certain
that today, you can be happy!
Let us pray aloud:
Beloved Heavenly
Father, I come before Your Presence to declare that I am full
of faith. I know that You love me so much that You preferred to give Your Son,
Jesus, rather than lose me. I am Your special treasure, and even if my father
and mother have forsaken me, You have taken me in. I am loved by God!
Today I determine to keep
believing Your Word, the Bible. Lord Jesus, today I can stand confidently
before Your Presence, knowing I am loved by You. I am blessed, a thousand times
happy, for You are here with me, and if God is with me, who can be against
me? Your Word sustains me and brings joy to my soul. I know You want me prosperous, healthy, and whole. My
thoughts and heart are with You, Lord. Even though I walk through the valley of
the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You, Jesus, are with me. A thousand
may fall at my
side and ten thousand at my right hand, but it will not come near me because I have believed in You. I resist the
spirit of fear and doubt, and I determine to make this day the best day of my
life by receiving Your Love and Your Truth.
Your Word is the Truth! I can
do all things, and in You, Jesus, in all things I am more than a conqueror.
Yes, in You, Jesus, my life is resolved. Therefore, I resist the spirit of
discouragement and unbelief that wants to sow its fear in me. I am healed
and I am free, for the
law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has
made me free from the law of sin and death. I am prosperous! I am blessed! I am
a Born Again Child of God! In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Important Note:
How do I become
a Child of God? How do I establish a relationship with the
Almighty?
Just say the following prayer aloud, putting
all your attention
and heart into what you are saying to God:
Lord Jesus, I believe that You
are the Son of God. That You came into this world, born of the virgin
Mary, to pay for all my
sins, and I have been a sinner.
Therefore, today I say that I accept. I accept Your sacrifice on the cross! I
accept Your precious Blood shed to the last drop out of love for me! I open my
heart to You and invite You in because I want, Lord Jesus, that from today
and forever You be my only and sufficient Savior, my God, my King, and
my Lord.
Thank You, Almighty God, because with this
simple prayer and profession of faith I have passed from death to Life, I have been transferred from darkness
to Your marvelous Light. Today I have been Born Again! God, now I am Your
Child! Now You are my Father! I will never be alone again! I will never live
defeated again. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Three Recommendations:
What just happened by you
recognizing Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life, according to God's Word, is that you have been Born Again. No longer
as an ordinary human being, subject to the law of sin and death, but now as a
legitimate and authentic Child of God, Born Again, exactly like Jesus Christ, who is now your Older Brother. Therefore,
I give you these three, very important, recommendations:
1.
Pray. Praying is talking with God. So, find a quiet
place where you can begin talking to Him about everything. Do it out loud, and you will notice
how God always responds to your heart.
2.
Read and meditate
on the Word of God. The Bible is the Word of God, so get a Bible
and start reading
and meditating on it. How do you begin? It’s very simple. Depending on the day,
look up the reading program “The Bible in
One Year” and do the corresponding readings. You can get this program at: Through The Bible In One Year
(palabradehonor.org). You will notice that the program is set up so you can
print it as a booklet.
3.
In prayer with God, your Father, look for and join a
Christian church or congregation where the Word of God is taught based on the Good News,
which are the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Reading and Meditation on the Word of God
Do these daily readings and by the end of one year you will have
read the entire Bible.
September 29 3 John / Ezra 7–8 / Psalm 94
1 The elder,
To my dear friend Gaius, whom I love in the truth.
2 Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy
good health and that all may go well with you, even
as your soul is getting along well. 3 It
gave me great joy when some believers came and testified about your faithfulness to the
truth, telling how you continue to walk in
it. 4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are
walking in the truth.
5 Dear friend, you are
faithful in what you are doing for the brothers and sisters,[a] even
though they are strangers to you. 6 They have told the church about your love.
Please send them on their way in a manner that honors
God. 7 It was for the sake of the Name
that they went out, receiving
no help from the pagans. 8 We ought
therefore to show hospitality to such people so that we may work together for
the truth.
9 I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to be first, will
not welcome us. 10 So when I come, I
will call attention to what he is doing, spreading malicious nonsense about us. Not satisfied with that, he even refuses
to welcome other
believers. He also stops those who want to do so and puts them out
of the church.
11 Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone
who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God. 12 Demetrius is well spoken
of by everyone—and even by the truth itself. We also speak well of him,
and you know that our testimony is true.
13 I
have much to write you, but I do not want to
do so with pen and ink.
14 I hope to see you soon, and we will talk face to
face.
15 Peace to you. The friends here send their greetings. Greet
the friends there
by name.
The End Has Come
7 The word of the LORD came to me: 2 “Son of man, this is what the Sovereign LORD says to the land of
Israel:
“‘The end! The end has come
upon the four corners of the land!
3
The end is now upon
you,
and I will unleash my anger against
you.
I will judge you according to your conduct and repay you for all your detestable practices.
4
I will not look on you with pity;
I will not spare you.
I will surely repay you for your conduct and for the detestable practices among you.
“‘Then you will know that I am the LORD.’
5 “This is what the Sovereign LORD says:
“‘Disaster! Unheard-of[a] disaster!
See, it comes!
6
The end has come! The end has come!
It has roused
itself against you.
See, it comes!
7
Doom has come upon you, upon you who dwell in the land.
The time has come! The day is near!
There is panic, not joy, on the mountains.
8
I am about
to pour out my wrath on you and spend my anger against you.
I will judge you according to your conduct and repay you for all your detestable practices.
9
I will not look on you with pity;
I will not spare you.
I will repay you for your conduct
and for the detestable practices
among you.
“‘Then you will know that it is I the LORD who strikes
you.
10
“‘See, the day!
See, it
comes!
Doom has burst forth,
the rod has budded,
arrogance has blossomed!
11
Violence has arisen,[b]
a rod to punish the wicked. None of the people
will be left, none of that crowd—
none of their wealth,
nothing of value.
12
The time has come! The day has arrived!
Let not the buyer rejoice nor the seller grieve,
for my wrath is on the whole crowd.
13
The seller will not recover the property that was sold—
as long as both buyer and seller live.
For the vision
concerning the whole crowd
will not be reversed.
Because of their sins, not one of them
will preserve their life.
14
“‘They have blown the trumpet, they have made all things ready, but no one will go into battle,
for my wrath is on the whole crowd.
15
Outside is the sword; inside are plague and famine.
Those in the country will die by the sword;
those in the city
will be devoured
by famine and plague.
16
The fugitives who escape will flee to the mountains.
Like doves of the valleys, they will all moan,
each for their own
sins.
17
Every hand will go limp; every leg will be wet with urine.
18
They will put on sackcloth and be clothed with terror.
Every face will be covered
with shame, and every head
will be shaved.
19
“‘They will throw
their silver into the streets,
and their gold will be treated as a thing
unclean.
Their silver and gold
will not be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD’s wrath. It will not satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs,
for it has caused them to stumble
into sin.
20
They took pride in their beautiful jewelry and used it to make their detestable idols.
They made it into vile images; therefore I will make it a thing unclean
for them.
21
I will give their wealth
as plunder to foreigners
and as loot to the wicked of the earth,
who will defile it.
22
I will turn my face away from the people, and robbers will desecrate
the place I treasure.
They will enter it and will defile it.
23
“‘Prepare chains!
For the land is full of bloodshed, and the city is full of
violence.
24
I will bring
the most wicked of nations to take possession of their
houses.
I will put an end to the pride of the mighty, and their sanctuaries will be
desecrated.
25
When terror comes, they will seek peace in vain.
26
Calamity upon calamity
will come, and rumor upon
rumor.
They will go searching for a vision
from the prophet, priestly instruction in the law
will cease,
the counsel
of the elders will come to an end.
27
The king will mourn,
the prince will be clothed
with despair,
and the hands of the people of the land will tremble. I will deal with them according
to their conduct,
and by their own standards I will judge
them.
“‘Then they will know that I am the LORD.’”
Idolatry in the Temple
8 In the sixth year, in the sixth month on the fifth day, while I was
sitting in my house and the elders of Judah were sitting before me, the hand of
the Sovereign LORD came on me there. 2 I looked, and I saw a
figure like that of a man.[c] From what appeared to be his waist down he was like fire, and
from there up his appearance was as bright as glowing metal. 3 He
stretched out what looked like a hand and took me by the hair of my head. The
Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven and in visions of God he took me
to Jerusalem, to the entrance of the north gate of the inner court, where the
idol that provokes to jealousy stood. 4 And there
before me was the glory of the
God of Israel, as in the vision
I had seen in the plain.
5 Then he said to me, “Son of
man, look toward
the north.” So I looked, and in the
entrance
north of the gate of the altar I saw this idol of jealousy.
6 And he said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing—the
utterly detestable things the Israelites are doing here, things that will drive me far from my sanctuary? But you
will see things that are even more detestable.”
7 Then he brought me to the entrance to the court. I looked, and I saw
a hole in the wall. 8 He said to me, “Son
of man, now dig into the wall.” So I dug into the wall and saw a doorway
there.
9 And he said to me, “Go in and see the wicked
and detestable things they are doing here.”
10 So I went in and looked, and I saw portrayed all over the walls all kinds of crawling things and unclean animals and all the
idols of Israel. 11 In front of them
stood seventy elders of Israel, and Jaazaniah son of Shaphan was standing among
them. Each had a censer in his hand, and a fragrant cloud of incense was
rising.
12 He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of Israel
are doing in the darkness, each at the shrine of his own idol? They
say, ‘The LORD does not see us; the LORD has
forsaken the land.’” 13 Again, he
said, “You will see them doing things that are even
more detestable.”
14 Then he brought me to the entrance of the north gate of the house
of the LORD, and I saw
women sitting there, mourning the god Tammuz. 15 He said to me, “Do you see this, son of man? You will see things
that are even more detestable than this.”
16 He then brought me into the inner court of the house of the LORD, and there at the entrance to the temple, between the portico and
the altar, were about twenty-five men. With
their backs toward
the temple of the
LORD and their faces toward the east, they were
bowing down to the sun in the east.
17 He said to me, “Have you seen this, son of man? Is it a trivial
matter for the people of Judah to do the detestable things they are doing here?
Must they also fill the land with violence and continually arouse my anger?
Look at them putting the branch to their nose! 18 Therefore I will deal with them in anger;
I will not look on them with pity or spare them.
Although they shout in my ears, I will not listen to them.”
Psalm 94
1
The LORD is
a God who avenges. O God who avenges,
shine forth.
2
Rise up, Judge of the
earth;
pay back to the proud
what they deserve.
3
How long, LORD, will the wicked, how long will the wicked be jubilant?
4
They pour out arrogant words;
all the evildoers
are full of boasting.
5
They crush your people, LORD; they oppress your inheritance.
6
They slay the widow and the foreigner; they murder the fatherless.
7
They say, “The LORD does not
see;
the God of Jacob takes no notice.”
8
Take notice, you senseless ones among the people;
you fools, when will you become wise?
9
Does he who fashioned the ear not hear?
Does he who formed the eye not see?
10
Does he who disciplines nations not
punish? Does he who teaches mankind
lack knowledge?
11
The LORD knows all human plans;
he knows that they are futile.
12
Blessed is the one you discipline, LORD,
the one you teach from your law;
13
you grant them relief from days of trouble,
till a pit is dug for the wicked.
14
For the LORD will not reject his people;
he will never forsake his inheritance.
15
Judgment will again be founded
on righteousness, and all the
upright in heart will follow it.
16
Who will rise up for me against the
wicked? Who will take a stand for me against evildoers?
17
Unless the LORD had given me help,
I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death.
18
When I said,
“My foot is slipping,”
your unfailing love, LORD, supported me.
19
When anxiety was great within me,
your consolation brought me joy.
20
Can a corrupt
throne be allied with you—
a throne that brings on misery by its decrees?
21
The wicked band together against
the righteous and condemn the
innocent to death.
22
But the LORD has become my fortress, and my God the rock in whom I take refuge.
23
He will repay them for their sins
and destroy them for their
wickedness;
the LORD our God will destroy
them.
