Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God… For whatsoever is born
of God overcometh the world:
and this is the victory
that overcometh the world, even our faith. (1
John 5:1a, 4 KJV)
I thank
God for the clarity and simplicity with which He established in His Word your
change of life, that is: your
deliverance from the law of sin and death; the total
renewal of your existence; your New Birth!
That’s right, if you believe
that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah and Savior of mankind, who paid with His
Blood and His Life the penalty for all your sins, then you, my dear brother or sister, according
to the Bible, which is the Word
of God and does not lie, are Born of God.
And since Scripture establishes
that you have been Born Again not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible, through
the Word of God which lives and abides forever (1 Peter 1:23), then
God has established in His Word that you are the one who overcomes the world
with your faith—believing Him, believing His Word!
Indeed, God
says it and it is the truth. It does not depend on whether you feel or see
yourself in victory at this moment in your life, or whether you feel it or not, nor does it depend on whether you see yourself
in victory. It only depends on whether you believe it or not. It
only depends on whether you
truly believe that the Bible is the
Word of God and therefore is the Truth.
God
is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should
repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not
make it good? (Numbers 23:19 KJV)
That is why
the victory that overcomes all sickness, all poverty, all anguish, all
loneliness, all depression, and all affliction is your faith, which is believing God,
believing His Word.
That’s right, it’s not just about believing
in God but
believing God. Believing His Word, the Bible.
If you think I’m being too
repetitive about believing God, believing His Word, let me tell you that I
haven’t been enough, because the only key, the only secret, for you to live the Full and Victorious Life your Heavenly
Father desires for you, is
that you make His Word, the Bible, the highest standard of your existence.
These things
I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the
world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the
world. (John 16:33 KJV)
In the midst of any problem,
illness, or affliction, you can find perfect Peace in
the Words of Jesus and you can trust Him, for
Jesus has already
overcome the world.
This is your
victory; this is your peace and your joy: knowing that God cannot lie, that He keeps His Word of Honor,
and that heaven
and earth will pass away before He fails to fulfill a single
one of His Words.
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words
shall not pass away.
(Luke 21:33 KJV)
It is not your circumstances that determine
your victory. It is not the
medical results, nor the many or few economic resources you have. Nor is it
your abilities or skills to resolve family conflicts and problems. What
determines your victory is your faith!
Thou wilt keep him in perfect
peace, whose mind is stayed
on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the LORD
for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength. (Isaiah
26:3–4 KJV)
God, your
Father, has committed to keep you in perfect peace when you persevere,
constantly and persistently trusting in Him, believing His Word. After all, God keeps His Word of Honor,
and if He says that in all things
you will come out more than a conqueror, then it is certain, you can trust that you
will
indeed come out more than a conqueror through
Him who loves you, Christ Jesus.
Nay, in all these things
we are more than conquerors through him that loved
us. (Romans 8:37 KJV)
Your life and your victory are guaranteed by the Word of Honor
of your Heavenly Father. You
can have peace!
I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth
you will have many trials and
sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world. (John
16:33 NLT)
Trusting in God (believing that the Bible
truly is the Word of God) is the key for you to begin to live, once and for
all, a full and blessed life.
Lord of hosts, blessed
is the man who trusts
in you. (Psalm 84:12
KJV)
Everything the
Bible assures about you was declared by God in His Word so that you may have the certainty
that He loves you and that the Victory is yours:
For God so loved the world, that he
gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to
condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John
3:16-17 KJV)
Always remember that God loves you so much that He preferred to give
up His own Son, Jesus, to pay
for all your sins, rather than lose you.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who
knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (2
Corinthians 5:21 KJV)
You have been declared
righteous by God, and that is exactly
what you are— Righteous!
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we
should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know
us is that it did not know him. (1 John 3:1 NIV)
Literally and legitimately, you are now a Born Again Child of God.
For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable,
through the living and enduring word of God. (1 Peter 1:23
NIV)
Despite everything the devil tries
to make you believe, the Truth is that you are
NO LONGER the same person you used to be. That sinner sold to sin and destined
for eternal death NO LONGER EXISTS. He died on the cross!
What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may
increase? By no means!
We are those who have died to sin;
how can we live in it any
longer? Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus
were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism
into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the
glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. For if we have been united
with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a
resurrection like his. (Romans 6:1-5 NIV)
Literally and legitimately, YOU ARE a Born Again Child of God!
It is not in vain that Scripture says: Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV)
Satan will always try, again and again, to convince you that this is not true, but remember:
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even
our faith. (1 John 5:4 KJV)
For every child of God defeats
this evil world,
and we achieve this victory through our faith [believing God,
believing His Word]. (1 John 5:4 NLT)
Let us pray aloud:
Beloved
Heavenly Father, blessed, a thousand times happy and fulfilled is the man and
woman who trust in You. Thank You because I can trust in You.
I trust in You, Lord Jesus. You keep me in perfect peace. You are my light and
my salvation, You are my healer and
deliverer, You uphold me with Your righteous right hand and You have given me
the victory. I believe You, Lord, I believe Your Word and I will not fear. I cast out doubt, fear, and unbelief
from my life. I
am Your Child and I can declare with all certainty: The Lord is my light and my
salvation; whom shall
I fear? The Lord is the strength
of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked advance
against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and
fall. Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out
against me, even then I will be confident. (Psalm 27:1-3, NIV/KJV) In any
adverse circumstance, I, (your name here),
believe and declare
that You, Lord, will increase my strength
like the wild ox; I will be anointed with fresh oil. My eyes will see my desire
on my enemies; my ears
will hear of the downfall
of those who rise up against me, of the wicked.
I am righteous and will flourish like the
palm tree; I will grow like
a cedar in Lebanon. I am planted in the house of the Lord, I will flourish in
the courts of my God. Even in old age I will bear fruit; I will stay fresh and
green, proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no
wickedness in him.” So, Abba! Father! I am Yours, and in Christ Jesus I have
already overcome, for greater are You, Holy Spirit, who lives in me and with
me, than he who is in the world. Father, all and every one of Your Promises are
in me, yes and amen! I submit to You, my God and Father, I submit to Your Word,
I resist Satan and he has to flee from my life. I do not receive doubt, nor
fear, nor sickness, nor poverty, nor anguish, nor depression. I am healed!
I am free! I am
prosperous! I am blessed! In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Important Note:
How do I become
a Child of God? How do I establish a relationship with the
Almighty?
Just say the following prayer aloud, putting
all your attention
and heart into what you are saying to God:
Lord Jesus, I
believe that You are the Son of God. That You came into this world, born of the virgin Mary, to pay for all my sins, and I have been a sinner.
Therefore,
today I say that I accept. I accept Your sacrifice on the cross! I accept Your precious Blood shed to the last drop out of love for me! I open my
heart to You and invite You in because I want, Lord Jesus, that from today
and forever You be my only and sufficient Savior, my God, my King, and
my Lord.
Thank You,
Almighty God, because with this simple prayer and profession of faith I have passed
from death to Life, I have been transferred from darkness
to Your marvelous Light. Today I have been Born Again! God, now I am Your
Child! Now You are my Father! I will never be alone again! I will never live
defeated again. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Three Recommendations:
What just happened by you
recognizing Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life, according to God's Word, is that you have been Born Again. No longer
as an ordinary human being, subject to the law of sin and death, but now as a
legitimate and authentic Child of God, Born Again, exactly like Jesus Christ, who is now your Older Brother. Therefore,
I give you these three, very important, recommendations:
1.
Pray. Praying is talking with God. So, find a quiet
place where you can begin talking to Him about everything. Do it out loud, and you will notice
how God always responds to your heart.
2.
Read and meditate
on the Word of God. The Bible is the Word of God, so get a Bible
and start reading
and meditating on it. How do you begin? It’s very simple. Depending on the day,
look up the reading program “The Bible in
One Year” and do the corresponding readings. You can get this program at: Through The Bible In One Year
(palabradehonor.org). You will notice that the program is set up so you can
print it as a booklet.
3.
In prayer with God, your Father, look for and join a
Christian church or congregation where the Word of God is taught based on the Good News, which are the Gospel of Jesus
Christ.

Faith in the Incarnate
Son of God
5 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and
everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. 2 This is how we know that we love the children
of God: by loving God and
carrying out his commands. 3 In
fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands
are not burdensome, 4 for
everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory
that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes
that Jesus is the Son of God.
6 This is the one who came
by water and blood—Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood.
And it is the Spirit
who testifies, because
the Spirit is the truth. 7 For there are three that testify: 8 the[a] Spirit,
the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement. 9 We accept human testimony, but God’s testimony is greater because
it is the testimony of God, which he has given about his Son. 10 Whoever believes in the Son of God
accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a
liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son.
11 And this is the testimony: God
has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of
God does not have life.
Concluding Affirmations
13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of
God so that you may know that you have eternal
life. 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that
if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us— whatever we ask—we know that we
have what we asked of him.
16 If you see
any brother or sister commit
a sin that does not lead to death,
you should pray and God will give them life. I refer
to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death.
I am not saying that you should pray about that. 17 All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to
death.
18 We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One
who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot
harm them. 19 We know that we are
children of God, and that the whole
world is under the control of the
evil one. 20 We know also that the Son of God has come and has
given us understanding, so that we
may know him who is true. And we are
in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and
eternal life.
21 Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.
3 And he said to me, “Son of man, eat what is before you, eat this scroll; then go and speak
to the people of Israel.” 2 So I
opened my mouth, and he gave me the scroll to eat.
3 Then he said to me, “Son of man, eat this scroll I am giving
you and fill your stomach
with it.” So I ate it, and it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth.
4 He then said to me: “Son of man, go now to the people of Israel and
speak my words to them. 5 You are
not being sent to a people of obscure speech and strange language, but to the
people of Israel— 6 not to many
peoples of obscure speech and strange language, whose words you cannot
understand. Surely if I had sent you to them, they would have listened to you. 7 But the people of Israel are not
willing to listen to you because they are not
willing to listen
to me, for all the Israelites are hardened and obstinate.
8 But I will make you as unyielding and hardened as
they are. 9 I will make your forehead
like the hardest stone, harder than flint. Do not be afraid of them or
terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people.”
10 And
he said to me, “Son of man, listen carefully and take to heart all the words I speak to
you. 11 Go now to your people in
exile and speak to them. Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says,’ whether they listen or fail to listen.”
12 Then the Spirit lifted
me up, and I heard behind
me a loud rumbling sound as the glory of the LORD rose from the place where it was
standing.[a] 13 It was the sound of the wings of the living creatures brushing
against each other and the sound of the wheels
beside them, a loud rumbling sound. 14 The Spirit then lifted me up and
took me away, and I went in bitterness and in the anger of my spirit, with the
strong hand of the LORD on
me. 15 I came to the exiles who lived at Tel Aviv
near the Kebar River. And there, where they were living, I sat
among them for seven days—deeply distressed.
Ezekiel’s Task as Watchman
16 At the end of
seven days the word of the LORD came to me: 17 “Son
of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of
Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. 18 When I say to a wicked
person, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from
their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for[b] their
sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. 19 But if you do warn the wicked person and they do not turn from
their wickedness or from their evil ways, they will die for their sin; but you
will have saved yourself.
20 “Again, when a righteous
person turns from their righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before them, they will
die. Since you did not warn them, they will die for their sin. The righteous
things that person did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable
for their blood. 21 But if you do
warn the righteous person not to sin and they do not sin, they will surely live
because they took warning, and you will have saved
yourself.”
22 The hand of the LORD was on me there, and he
said to me, “Get up and go out to the plain,
and there I will speak to you.” 23 So I got up
and went out to the plain. And the glory
of the LORD was standing
there, like the glory I had seen by the Kebar River, and I fell facedown.
24 Then the Spirit came into me and raised me to my feet. He spoke to
me and said: “Go, shut yourself inside
your house. 25 And you, son of man, they will tie with ropes;
you will be bound so that you cannot go out among
the people. 26 I will make your
tongue stick to the roof of your mouth so that you will be silent and unable to
rebuke them, for they are a rebellious people. 27 But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth and you shall
say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says.’
Whoever will listen let them listen, and whoever will refuse let them refuse;
for they are a rebellious people.
Siege of Jerusalem Symbolized
4 “Now, son of man, take a block of clay, put it in front of you and draw the city of
Jerusalem on it. 2 Then lay siege to it: Erect
siege works against it, build a ramp up to it, set up camps against it and put battering rams around it. 3 Then
take an iron pan, place it as an iron wall between you and the city and
turn your face toward it. It will be under siege, and you shall besiege it.
This will be a sign to the people of Israel.
4
“Then lie on your left side and put the sin of the
people of Israel upon yourself.[c] You
are to bear their sin for the
number of days you lie on
your side. 5 I have assigned you the same number of days as the years of their
sin. So for 390 days you will bear the sin of the people of Israel.
6 “After you have finished
this, lie down again, this time on your right
side, and bear the
sin of the people of Judah. I have assigned you 40 days, a day for each year. 7 Turn your face toward the siege of
Jerusalem and with bared arm prophesy against her. 8 I will tie you up with ropes so that you cannot turn from one
side to the other until you have finished the days of your siege.
9 “Take wheat
and barley, beans and lentils, millet and spelt; put them in a storage jar and use
them to make bread for yourself. You
are to eat it during the 390 days you lie on your side. 10 Weigh out twenty shekels[d] of food to
eat each day and eat
it at set times. 11 Also
measure out a sixth of a hin[e] of water and drink it at set times. 12 Eat the food as you would a loaf of barley
bread; bake it in the sight of the people,
using human excrement for fuel.” 13 The LORD said,
“In this way the people of Israel will eat defiled food among the
nations where I will drive them.”
14 Then I said, “Not so, Sovereign LORD! I have never defiled myself. From my youth until now I have never eaten anything
found dead or torn by wild animals.
No impure meat has
ever entered my mouth.”
15 “Very well,” he said, “I will let you bake your bread over cow
dung instead of human excrement.”
16 He then said to me: “Son of man,
I am about to cut off the food supply
in Jerusalem. The people will eat rationed
food in anxiety
and drink rationed water in despair, 17 for food and
water will be scarce. They will be appalled at the sight of each other and will
waste away because of[f] their
sin.
Psalm 92
A psalm. A song. For the Sabbath day.
1
It is good to praise the LORD
and make music to your name, O Most High,
2
proclaiming your love in the morning
and your faithfulness at night,
3
to the music
of the ten-stringed lyre
and the melody of the harp.
4
For you make me glad by your deeds, LORD;
I sing for joy at what your hands have done.
5
How great are your works,
LORD, how profound your thoughts!
6
Senseless people do not know, fools do not understand,
7
that though the wicked spring
up like grass and all evildoers flourish,
they will be destroyed forever.
8
But you, LORD, are forever
exalted.
9
For surely your enemies, LORD, surely your enemies
will perish; all evildoers
will be scattered.
10
You have exalted my horn[b] like that of a wild ox; fine oils have been poured on me.
11
My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries; my ears have heard the rout
of my wicked foes.
12
The righteous will flourish like a palm tree,
they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;
13
planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish
in the courts of our God.
14
They will still bear fruit in old age,
they will stay fresh and green,
15
proclaiming, “The LORD is upright;
he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”
