How to Supernaturally Overcome All Your Problems

How to Supernaturally Overcome All Your

 Problems

If you can believe God, to the one who believes God, ALL things

are possible!

by Riqui Ricón*

Oh, how I love your law! It is my meditation all day long... Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path... I am severely afflicted; revive me, O Lord, according to your word... Uphold me according to your word, that I may live; and let me not be ashamed of my hope. Hold me up, and I shall be safe, and I shall delight forever in your statutes. (Psalm 119:97, 105, 107, 116–117)

King Hezekiah was one of the best kings the kingdom of Judah ever had, so much so that Scripture says of him:

He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, according to all that David his father had done... He trusted in the Lord God of Israel; so that after him there was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him. For he held fast to the Lord; he did not depart from following Him, but kept the commandments which the Lord had commanded Moses. The Lord was with him; wherever he went, he prospered. He rebelled against the king of Assyria and did not serve him. (2 Kings 18:3, 5–7)

When Sennacherib, king of Assyria, after a very successful military campaign in which he had invaded several kingdoms, came with his great army to destroy Jerusalem, Hezekiah strengthened himself in the Lord to listen to and believe the Word of God, and because of that, he was miraculously delivered from his enemy.

Today, my dear friend, you may need, like King Hezekiah, a great miracle. If that is your case, I have very good news for you: the Bible, which is the Word of God and does not lie, says that surely He took up your infirmities, carried your pains, and by His wounds you were healed (Isaiah 53:4–5); it says that God desires that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers (Third Letter of John 2); and it also says that even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you will fear no evil, for God Himself is with you (Psalm 23:4).

Perhaps you think that God helped Hezekiah because he was king of Judah, or that Jesus could heal the sick or feed the multitudes because He is the Son of God. Well, allow me to ask you something— is that all it takes? To be a king or queen; to be a Son or Daughter of God?

Excellent! More good news! The Bible, which is the Word of God and cannot lie, clearly says that by the Blood of Jesus you have already been made a king (or queen) for God, and that you will reign upon this earth.

And they sang a new song, saying: You are worthy to take the book and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you have redeemed us for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God, and we shall reign on the earth. (Book of Revelation 5:9–10)

Notice that Scripture does NOT say that you will become a king (or queen) when you get to heaven or into the presence of God, but that because of what Jesus did out of love for you, you already ARE that king (or queen) who shall reign upon the earth.

And if that seems little to you, pay full attention and open your heart to what First Letter of John 3:1 says:

See how great is the love that the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we really are. That is why the people of the world do not know us, because the world does not know God.

Not only are you a King (or Queen) and a Priest (or Priestess), but you are also called a Son (or Daughter) of God by God Himself! And that is what you truly are!

And many times the spirit throws him into the fire or into the water to destroy

him. “If you can do anything, help us. Have compassion on us!” Jesus said, “What do you mean, ‘if you can’? All things are possible for the one who believes.” (Gospel according to Mark 9:22–23, CST)

Perhaps you have already prayed, and it seems like nothing has worked, and

you find yourself like that father who came to Jesus saying, “I brought my son

to your disciples, but they could not heal him. But if you can do anything, have mercy on us and help us.” Then, if that is your case, I urge you to meditate on Jesus’ response:

“What do you mean, if I can? It’s the other way around—it’s not about whether I can do something for you, but whether you can believe Me, because to the one who believes God, ALL things are possible!”

Lord of hosts, blessed is the one who trusts in you. (Psalm 84:12)

If you can believe that the Bible is the Word of God and does not lie... if you can believe that the Bible is the Truth... if you can believe that God loves you so much that He preferred to give His own Son rather than lose you... if you can believe that by the Blood of Jesus you have been made for God a king (or queen) and a priest (or priestess), and will reign upon the earth... if you can believe that by His great love for you, God has called you His Son (or Daughter)... then, my beloved, you can pray with full assurance of faith that God is with you—and if God is with you, who can be against you? You can be completely sure that if God said it, then He will do it; if God spoke it, then He will bring it to pass.

And remember that even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you will not fear, for God your Father is with you.

You will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. (Isaiah 26:3)

It was because Hezekiah believed God—believing His Word—that he received God’s swift help, and the army of the king of Assyria was supernaturally destroyed.

And you who remain in Judah, you who have escaped the devastation of the attack, will take root in your own soil, grow, and prosper. For from Jerusalem will come a remnant of my people, a group of survivors from Mount Zion. The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies will make this happen! “And this is what the Lord says about the king of Assyria: His armies will not enter Jerusalem; they will not even shoot a single arrow at it. They will not march outside its gates with their shields nor build siege ramps against its

walls. The king will return to his own country by the same road on which he came. He will not enter this city—says the Lord. For my own honor and for the sake of my servant David, I will defend this city and protect it.” (Book of Isaiah 37:31–35, NLT)

And that was Hezekiah—just a king of Judah. How much more will Almighty God do for one of His Sons or Daughters like you, who trusts in Him?

Take courage! Believe your heavenly Father by believing His Word, for His good will toward you is pleasing and perfect. God has not left you, nor will He ever leave you. From every problem, distress, or sickness, you will come out more than a conqueror through the One who loved you—Christ Jesus.

Hezekiah, though a great king, was still a mere mortal. And without a doubt, because of the love that God has for you, through His Word and the power of the Holy Spirit, you are a Son (or Daughter) of God, born again. And you can say to your heavenly Father with all sincerity:

Oh, how I love your law! It is my meditation all day long... Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path... I am severely afflicted; revive me, O Lord, according to your word... Uphold me according to your word, that I may live; and let me not be ashamed of my hope. Hold me up, and I shall be safe, and I shall delight forever in your statutes. (Psalm 119:97, 105, 107, 116–117)

So then, make the Bible the supreme standard of your existence. Keep it in your mind, mouth, and heart by reading and meditating on it day and night, every day of your life, because only then will you make your way prosperous and everything will turn out well for you.

This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. (Joshua 1:8)

Let’s pray out loud:

Beloved heavenly Father, I know perfectly well that I can trust You. I know perfectly well that Your Word, the Bible, is the Truth. And I know that even this

assurance has been given to me by You because of the great love with which You love me. Thank You, Lord Jesus, because when I was in darkness, You brought me into Your marvelous light; when I was dead, You gave me life, and the life You purchased for me with Your Blood is a good, full, and abundant life. I am a Son (or Daughter) of the King of kings and Lord of lords! Who can defeat me? Tribulation, distress, persecution, hunger, nakedness, danger, or sword?

As it is written in Your Word: For Your sake I am put to death all day long; I am counted as a sheep for the slaughter. Yet in all these things I am more than a conqueror through Him who loved me. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate me from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus my Lord. Therefore, I believe and receive that healthy life, free from sickness, which You bought for me. I believe and receive that full and abundant life filled with joy and peace, where I may face troubles and afflictions, but through each and every one of them, I will come out more than a conqueror. There is no way I can lose in this life! Therefore, I believe and declare that I am healed! I am free! I am prosperous! I am joyful! I am a Child of the King! Thank You, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Important Note:

How do I become a Child of God? How do I establish a relationship with the Almighty?

Just say the following prayer aloud, putting all your attention and heart into what you are saying to God:

Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God. That You came into this world, born of the virgin Mary, to pay for all my sins, and I have been a sinner. Therefore, today I say that I accept. I accept Your sacrifice on the cross! I accept Your precious Blood shed to the last drop out of love for me! I open my heart to You and invite You in because I want, Lord Jesus, that from today and forever You be my only and sufficient Savior, my God, my King, and my Lord.

Thank You, Almighty God, because with this simple prayer and profession of faith I have passed from death to Life, I have been transferred from darkness

to Your marvelous Light. Today I have been Born Again! God, now I am Your Child! Now You are my Father! I will never be alone again! I will never live defeated again. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Three Recommendations:

What just happened by you recognizing Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life, according to God's Word, is that you have been Born Again. No longer as an ordinary human being, subject to the law of sin and death, but now as a legitimate and authentic Child of God, Born Again, exactly like Jesus Christ, who is now your Older Brother. Therefore, I give you these three, very important, recommendations:

1.    Pray. Praying is talking with God. So, find a quiet place where you can begin talking to Him about everything. Do it out loud, and you will notice how God always responds to your heart.

2.    Read and meditate on the Word of God. The Bible is the Word of God, so get a Bible and start reading and meditating on it. How do you begin? It’s very simple. Depending on the day, look up the reading program “The

Bible in One Year” and do the corresponding readings. You can get this program at: Through The Bible In One Year (palabradehonor.org). You will notice that the program is set up so you can print it as a booklet.

3.    In prayer with God, your Father, look for and join a Christian church or congregation where the Word of God is taught based on the Good News, which are the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Reading and Meditation on the Word of God

Do these daily readings, and by the end of one year you will have read the entire Bible.

November 1    1 Timothy 3 / Isaiah 36-37 / Psalm 119.97-120

1 Timothy

3 This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.

2  A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

3  Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;

4  One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;

5  (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

6  Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.

7  Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

8  Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;

9  Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.

10  And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.

11  Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.

12  Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.

13  For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

14  These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly:

15  But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

16  And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Isaiah

36 Now it came to pass in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah, that Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the defenced cities of Judah, and took them.

2  And the king of Assyria sent Rabshakeh from Lachish to Jerusalem unto king Hezekiah with a great army. And he stood by the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller's field.

3  Then came forth unto him Eliakim, Hilkiah's son, which was over the house, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah, Asaph's son, the recorder.

4  And Rabshakeh said unto them, Say ye now to Hezekiah, Thus saith the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence is this wherein thou trustest?

5  I say, sayest thou, (but they are but vain words) I have counsel and strength for war: now on whom dost thou trust, that thou rebellest against me?

6  Lo, thou trustest in the staff of this broken reed, on Egypt; whereon if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all that trust in him.

7  But if thou say to me, We trust in the LORD our God: is it not he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and said to Judah and to Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar?

8  Now therefore give pledges, I pray thee, to my master the king of Assyria, and I will give thee two thousand horses, if thou be able on thy part to set riders upon them.

9  How then wilt thou turn away the face of one captain of the least of my master's servants, and put thy trust on Egypt for chariots and for horsemen?

10  And am I now come up without the LORD against this land to destroy it? the LORD said unto me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.

11  Then said Eliakim and Shebna and Joah unto Rabshakeh, Speak, I pray thee, unto thy servants in the Syrian language; for we understand it: and speak not to us in the Jews' language, in the ears of the people that are on the wall.

12  But Rabshakeh said, Hath my master sent me to thy master and to thee to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men that sit upon the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?

13  Then Rabshakeh stood, and cried with a loud voice in the Jews' language, and said, Hear ye the words of the great king, the king of Assyria.

14  Thus saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you: for he shall not be able to deliver you.

15  Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us: this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.

16  Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a present, and come out to me: and eat ye every one of his vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his own cistern;

17  Until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards.

18  Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying, the LORD will deliver us. Hath any of the gods of the nations delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?

19  Where are the gods of Hamath and Arphad? where are the gods of Sepharvaim? and have they delivered Samaria out of my hand?

20  Who are they among all the gods of these lands, that have delivered their land out of my hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand?

21  But they held their peace, and answered him not a word: for the king's commandment was, saying, Answer him not.

22  Then came Eliakim, the son of Hilkiah, that was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah, the son of Asaph, the recorder, to Hezekiah with their clothes rent, and told him the words of Rabshakeh.

37 And it came to pass, when king Hezekiah heard it, that he rent his clothes, and covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD.

2  And he sent Eliakim, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests covered with sackcloth, unto Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.

3  And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.

4  It may be the LORD thy God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that is left.

5  So the servants of king Hezekiah came to Isaiah.

6  And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

7  Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.

8  So Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah: for he had heard that he was departed from Lachish.

9  And he heard say concerning Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, He is come forth to make war with thee. And when he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying,

10  Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God, in whom thou trustest, deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

11  Behold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands by destroying them utterly; and shalt thou be delivered?

12  Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed, as Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Telassar?

13  Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arphad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivah?

14  And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up unto the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.

15  And Hezekiah prayed unto the LORD, saying,

16  O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.

17  Incline thine ear, O LORD, and hear; open thine eyes, O LORD, and see: and hear all the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent to reproach the living God.

18  Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations, and their countries,

19  And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.

20  Now therefore, O LORD our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD, even thou only.

21  Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent unto Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Whereas thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria:

22  This is the word which the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin, the daughter of Zion, hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.

23  Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.

24  By thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the height of his border, and the forest of his Carmel.

25  I have digged, and drunk water; and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of the besieged places.

26  Hast thou not heard long ago, how I have done it; and of ancient times, that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities into ruinous heaps.

27  Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded: they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.

28  But I know thy abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy rage against me.

29  Because thy rage against me, and thy tumult, is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.

30  And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such as groweth of itself; and the second year that which springeth of the same: and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof.

31  And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:

32  For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.

33  Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it.

34  By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD.

35  For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.

36  Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

37  So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh.

38  And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Armenia: and Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.

Psalm

119. 97 O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.

98  Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.

99  I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.

100  I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.

101  I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.

102  I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.

103  How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

104  Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

105  Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

106  I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.

107  I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.

108  Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.

109  My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.

110  The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.

111  Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

112  I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, even unto the end.

113  I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.

114  Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.

115  Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.

116  Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.

117  Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.

118  Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood.

119  Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies.

120  My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.
