Today is a day to believe and declare. To believe and declare what the Bible— the Word of God that does
not lie—says about you and the time in
which you are living.
Because of this, I believe
and declare that the coming
year is the year in which
you will reign by using the abundant Grace that is upon you. It will be a year
where you will reach the Splendor of the Glory of the Lord!
On this special day, when the whole world
celebrates the arrival of a new year—in the face of growing threats of
financial crises, health problems, violence and organized crime everywhere,
family crises, the total loss of human values, climate change, global warming,
famine, wars, hurricanes, tsunamis, illegal migration, etc.—it is a good time
to remember that father who, in desperation, sought Jesus to ask for HELP for his sick son, whom even
the disciples could not heal:
Jesus asked
the boy’s father,
“How long has he been like this?”
“From
childhood,” he answered. “It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him.
But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.” “‘If you can’?” said
Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes” (Mark
9:21-23, NIV).
What nerve! To say to Jesus, "if you
can do anything." Well, perhaps you are facing this new year with that
same plea toward Him. I don't know; maybe your
problems and needs are weighing
you down to the point that you find no other way out than to cry out to Him: If you can do anything, have mercy on me and
help me!
Well, I have very good news for you; look at the response
Jesus gave to that
overwhelmed father: If you can believe,
all things are possible to him that believeth!
And when Jesus says "all," He means exactly
that: ALL.
Jesus answered: Have faith in God,
because I tell you the truth, whoever has faith and does not harbor doubts
in their heart,
but believes that what they say
will be fulfilled, can tell this mountain to be removed and thrown into the
sea, and the mountain will obey.
That is why I assure you that whatever you ask for in prayer, if you put your faith in the fact that you
are to receive it, you will receive it (Mark
11:22-24, NIV).
It doesn’t matter if your circumstances say
otherwise, because your circumstances can never change the truth; however,
with Christ Jesus and the Truth of His Word, you can be sure
your circumstances will always change.
Simon Peter had been working
all night without
catching anything, and facing a reality of scarcity and fruitless labor,
Jesus asked Peter to launch out into the deep and let down THE nets (plural),
because He had planned a year of abundant fullness for them. However, even
though Peter clarified that he would do it at His Word, he only let down THE
net (singular)—one single net— and THE net broke.
Interesting, isn't it? While God plans for
you to live your life in His abundant blessing, all the forces of hell and
their apparent reality work so that you do NOT
believe it and, like Peter,
you act half-heartedly by throwing out a single, old net.
Enlarge the place of your tent,
stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords,
strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations
and settle in
their desolate cities. Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame.
Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the
shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood. For
your Maker is your husband—the Lord Almighty is his name—the Holy One of Israel
is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth (Isaiah
54:2-5, NIV).
The beautiful part of the story is that
Jesus did not reproach Peter for his unbelief.
Instead, even though
Peter was very close to losing the most amazing and abundant catch they had ever
had, Jesus granted it to him with His love and Father's heart.
See how much our heavenly Father
loves us that he allows us to be called children of God. And the most wonderful thing is that we really are! Naturally, since most people do not know
God, they do not understand why we are (1 John
3:1, NIV).
Despite whatever circumstance or reality you find yourself living at
this very moment, prepare yourself to receive the New Year with happiness, joy,
and expectation, for next year is the year in which you will reign to perform great works in the Kingdom of God through
the abundant Grace that is upon you.
It will be a year of Splendor!
The Glory of the Lord will shine upon you once
again!
"For God so loved the
world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not
perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world
to condemn the world, but to save the world through him" (John
3:16-17, NIV).
This will be so through
your faith, for God only asks that you believe;
that you believe Him, that you
believe His Word, the Bible. And it is the Bible
that tells you clearly that God loves you so much He preferred to give up His
own Son rather than lose you.
He
that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall
he not with him also freely give us all things? (Romans
8:32, KJV).
So, stand firmly
planted in the Word of God and declare out loud over your
New Year:
Beloved Heavenly Father, on this last day of
the year, I face my future knowing perfectly
who I am: Your Beloved
Child! In Your Word, the Bible, I establish that in this New Year:
●
I can do all things through
Christ which strengtheneth me! (Philippians
4:13, KJV)
● I
am of God and have overcome, for greater is he that is in me, than he
that is in the world! (1 John 4:4, KJV)
● Surely Christ Jesus has borne my sicknesses and carried my sorrows, and by his stripes I HAVE ALREADY BEEN
healed! (Isaiah 53:4-5, KJV)
● In
all these things
I am more than a conqueror through
him that loved me, Christ Jesus! (Romans
8:37, KJV)
● He
that was begotten
of God, Jesus Christ, keepeth
me, and that wicked one
toucheth me not! (1 John 5:18, KJV)
Lord my God, the coming year will be a year of fulfillment for me through
Your abundant Grace. It will be a year of Splendor! Therefore, I will
live this coming year, from January to December:
● In health,
free from disease.
● Without any fear, for I am not going to fail.
● I will not be afraid of bad news, for my heart is fixed, trusting
in You, Lord, and in Your
Word of Honor. My heart is secure!
I reject poverty and lack, and I declare
that I will walk through the entire coming year with Your Blessing, and wealth
and riches shall be in my house. I establish
Love, Peace, and Joy in my family
and in all my relationships. You and I, Holy
Spirit, will make the New Year the best year of my life. I will not fear!
You, Lord, are my light and my hope. You are the strength of my life! Of whom shall I be afraid?
In the face of every possible economic or
social problem, I know well that a thousand shall fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right
hand, but it shall not come nigh me. Because I have set my love upon You, O God, You will also
deliver me; You will set me on high, because
I have known Your name. In the coming year, I will call upon You, and You will
answer me; You will be with me in trouble; You will deliver
me and honor me. With long life will You satisfy me, and show me Your salvation. New Year!
I am going to reign and perform great works for the Kingdom of God through His
abundant Grace. I am going to live the Splendor of the Glory of the Lord in my
life! In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Important Note:
How do I become a Child of God? How do I establish a relationship with the
Almighty?
Just say the following prayer
aloud, putting all your attention
and heart into what you are saying to God:
Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of
God. That You came into this world, born
of the virgin Mary, to pay for all my sins, and I have
been a sinner. Therefore, today I say that I accept. I accept Your
sacrifice on the cross! I accept Your precious
Blood shed to the last drop out of love for me! I open my
heart to You and invite You in
because I want, Lord Jesus, that from today and forever You be my only and sufficient Savior, my
God, my King, and my Lord.
Thank You, Almighty God, because with this
simple prayer and profession of faith I have passed from death to Life, I have been transferred from darkness
to Your marvelous Light. Today I have been Born Again! God, now I am Your
Child! Now You are my Father! I will never be alone again! I will never live
defeated again. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Three Recommendations:
What just happened by you recognizing Jesus Christ as the Lord and
Savior of your life, according
to God's Word, is that you have been Born Again. No longer
as an ordinary human being, subject to the law of sin and death, but now as a
legitimate and authentic Child of God, Born Again, exactly like Jesus Christ, who is now your Older Brother. Therefore,
I give you these three, very important, recommendations:
1.
Pray. Praying is talking with God. So, find a quiet
place where you can begin talking to Him about everything. Do it out loud, and you will notice
how God always responds to your heart.
2.
Read and meditate
on the Word of God. The Bible
is the Word of God, so
get a Bible and start reading and meditating on it. How do you begin? It’s very simple. Depending on the day,
look up the reading program “The
Bible in One Year” and do the corresponding readings. You can get this program at: Through The Bible In One Year (palabradehonor.org). You will notice
that the program is set up so you can print it as a booklet.
3.
In prayer with God, your Father, look for and join a
Christian church or congregation where the Word of God is taught based
on the Good News, which are
the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

/ Ezekiel 48 / Isaiah 66
Luke
5 And it came to pass,
that, as the people pressed
upon him to hear the word
of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,
2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of
them, and were washing their nets.
3 And he entered
into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down,
and taught the people out of
the ship.
4 Now when he had left speaking,
he said unto Simon, Launch
out into the deep, and let down your nets for a
draught.
5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled
all the night, and have taken
nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
6 And when they had this done, they inclosed
a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.
7 And they beckoned
unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so
that they began to sink.
8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus'
knees, saying, Depart
from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.
9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught
of the fishes which they had
taken:
10 And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto
Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.
11 And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and
followed him.
12 And it came to
pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face,
and besought him, saying, Lord, if
thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
13
And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean.
And immediately the leprosy departed
from him.
14 And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses
commanded, for a testimony unto
them.
15 But so much the
more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.
16 And he withdrew himself
into the wilderness, and prayed.
17 And it came to pass on a certain
day, as he was teaching,
that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law
sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and
Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
18 And, behold,
men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and
they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.
19 And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because
of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through
the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.
20 And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven
thee.
21 And the scribes and the Pharisees
began to reason,
saying, Who is this
which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?
23 Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?
24 But that ye may
know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,)
I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine
house.
25 And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay,
and departed to his own house, glorifying God.
26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified
God, and were filled with fear,
saying, We have seen strange things to day.
Ezekiel
48 Now these are the names of
the tribes. From the north end to the coast of the way of
Hethlon, as one goeth to Hamath, Hazarenan, the border of Damascus northward, to the coast of Hamath;
for these are his sides east and west; a portion for Dan.
2 And by the border
of Dan, from the east side unto the west side, a portion
for Asher.
3 And by the border
of Asher, from the east side even unto the west side,
a portion for Naphtali.
4 And by the border
of Naphtali, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Manasseh.
5 And by the border
of Manasseh, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Ephraim.
6 And by the border
of Ephraim, from the east side even unto the west side,
a portion for Reuben.
7 And by the border
of Reuben, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Judah.
8 And by the border
of Judah, from the east side unto the west side, shall be the offering
which ye shall
offer of five and twenty
thousand reeds in breadth,
and in length as one of the other
parts, from the east side unto the
west side: and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it.
9 The oblation
that ye shall
offer unto the LORD shall be of five and twenty
thousand in length, and of ten thousand in breadth.
10 And for them,
even for the priests, shall be this holy oblation; toward the north five and twenty
thousand in length,
and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east ten
thousand in breadth, and toward the south five and twenty thousand in length:
and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in the midst thereof.
11 It shall
be for the priests that are sanctified of the sons of Zadok;
which have kept my charge, which went not astray when the children
of Israel went astray, as the
Levites went astray.
12 And this oblation of the land that is offered shall be unto them a thing most holy by the border of the Levites.
13 And over against
the border of the priests the Levites shall have five and twenty thousand
in length, and ten thousand
in breadth: all the length
shall be five and twenty
thousand, and the breadth ten thousand.
14 And they shall not sell of it, neither
exchange, nor alienate
the firstfruits of the land: for it is holy unto the LORD.
15 And the five thousand, that are left in the breadth over against the five and twenty thousand, shall be a profane
place for the city, for dwelling, and for suburbs: and the city shall be in the
midst thereof.
16 And these shall be the measures
thereof; the north side four thousand and five hundred, and the south side four
thousand and five hundred, and on the
east side four thousand
and five hundred,
and the west side four thousand and five hundred.
17 And the suburbs of the city shall be toward the north two hundred and fifty,
and toward the south two hundred and fifty, and toward the east two hundred
and fifty, and toward the west two hundred and fifty.
18 And the residue in length over against the oblation of the holy portion shall be ten thousand eastward, and ten
thousand westward: and it shall be over against the oblation of the holy
portion; and the increase thereof shall be for food unto them that serve the
city.
19 And they that serve the city shall serve
it out of all the tribes of
Israel.
20 All the oblation
shall be five and twenty thousand by five and twenty thousand: ye shall offer the holy oblation foursquare, with the possession of the city.
21 And the residue
shall be for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the holy oblation,
and of the possession of the city, over against the five and twenty thousand of
the oblation toward the east border, and westward over against the five and twenty thousand
toward the west border, over against the portions for the prince: and it shall
be the holy oblation; and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the midst
thereof.
22 Moreover from the
possession of the Levites, and from the possession of the city, being in the midst of that which is the prince's,
between the border of
Judah and the border of Benjamin, shall be for the prince.
23 As for the rest of the tribes, from the east side unto the west side, Benjamin shall have a portion.
24 And by the border
of Benjamin, from the east side unto the west side,
Simeon shall have a portion.
25 And by the border
of Simeon, from the east side unto the west side,
Issachar a portion.
26 And by the border
of Issachar, from the east side unto the west side,
Zebulun a portion.
27 And by the border
of Zebulun, from the east side unto the west side, Gad a
portion.
28 And by the border
of Gad, at the south
side southward, the border shall be
even from Tamar unto the waters of strife in Kadesh, and to the river toward
the great sea.
29 This is the land which ye shall divide
by lot unto the tribes
of Israel for inheritance, and these are their
portions, saith the Lord GOD.
30 And these are the goings out of the city on the north
side, four thousand and five hundred measures.
31 And the gates of
the city shall be after the names of the tribes of Israel: three gates
northward; one gate of Reuben,
one gate of Judah, one gate of Levi.
32 And at the east side four thousand and five hundred:
and three gates; and
one gate of Joseph, one gate of Benjamin, one gate of Dan.
33 And at the south side four thousand and five hundred
measures: and three gates; one gate of Simeon, one gate
of Issachar, one gate of Zebulun.
34 At the west side four thousand
and five hundred,
with their three gates; one gate of Gad, one gate of Asher, one
gate of Naphtali.
35 It was round about eighteen thousand
measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there.
Isaiah
66 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven
is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye
build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
2 For all those things
hath mine hand made, and all those things have been,
saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him
that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth
an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood;
he that burneth incense, as if
he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen
their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
4 I also will
choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called,
none did answer;
when I spake, they did not hear: but
they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
5 Hear the word of
the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that
hated you, that cast you out for my name's
sake, said, Let the
LORD be glorified:
but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
6 A voice
of noise from the city,
a voice from the temple,
a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.
7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.
8 Who hath heard such a thing?
who hath seen such things?
Shall the earth be
made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon
as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
9 Shall I bring to the birth,
and not cause to bring forth? saith the
LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb?
saith thy God.
10 Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that
mourn for her:
11 That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts
of her consolations; that ye
may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
12 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend
peace to her like a river, and the
glory of the Gentiles
like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be
dandled upon her knees.
13 As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
14 And when ye see this, your heart shall
rejoice, and your bones shall flourish
like an herb: and the hand of the
LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.
15 For, behold, the
LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a
whirlwind, to render his anger
with fury, and his rebuke
with flames of fire.
16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh:
and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens
behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination,
and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
18 For I know their works and their thoughts:
it shall come, that I will gather all
nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.
19 And I will set a
sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to
Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory
among the Gentiles.
20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering
unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and
upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into
the house of the LORD.
21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites,
saith the LORD.
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain
before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and
your name remain.
23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from
one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the
LORD.
24 And they shall go
forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against
me: for their worm shall
not die, neither
shall their fire be
quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
